Letting Go

Letting go is one of my most challenging obstacles today. Letting go of security, stability. Taking a leap of faith or possibly even a step back. Whether forced or by choice there's always something to let go of. Maybe it's letting go of control or letting go of your pride.. Pride, confidence, self worth... Once it's all said and done though, there is a calming sense of relief in throwing your hands up and deciding that this battle may not be yours to win. And maybe just maybe something bigger and better is on the other side... somewhere.

CLEAN YOUR SHIT UP

BFGF Social Media Rant… 

If your going to have social media accounts whether used or not Clean your shit up! No one enjoys going into a relationship with your ex-bitch or your last fu*k in their face all the time! And Guess What… At the click of a button you can untag and even remove things here and there. Wow!!! Who would have thought! Doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be found somewhere else but at least it’s not a constant slap in the face.

Another note: If you have BAD history with someone or your special someone has TERRIBLE history with them you may want to think twice about following their shit. If the reminder of that person has a negative impact on your special someone, ESPECIALLY if it’s your own damn fault.. cut that shit off!

Tip of the day: If your not savvy enough to figure out how to use the site, why the hell do you even have an account? Here’s a thought, if you don’t use it or maintain it, get rid of it!

And just in case you weren’t aware… The social media world can learn a lot about what peaks a persons interests by checking out the type of feeds they follow. Take a look at yourself. Would you be interested? Just a thought…

Is it ever enough???

Wanting what every woman wants... Not because I want someone to swoop me up and take care of me or because for the first time in my adult life I have absolutely nothing to fall back on. I am disappointed in myself and the decisions I have made. I am not happy with where I am and I really just don’t like life in general right now.  

I understand that circumstances don’t match up, timing isn’t right, bla bla bla... but emotions take over and I can’t help but to feel that timing will never be right. It never has been, never will be. People shouldn’t join lives out of convenience. Some do because they believe they have no alternative, others do because they think it’s the right choice in life and the very few left have a longing desire to spend their every day with that person, truly love them and will stop at nothing to make it happen regardless of circumstances or situations.  

I guess I feel that where there is a will there is a way and if thats not enough then there really wasn’t anything at all.
