It’s kind of insane that the guy who almost attacked Bella is an actual rapist and murderer and he DOESN’T tell her... ever...! It definitely would have given Twilight a different tone so maybe it was for the best... but I definitely liked this side plot in the darker Midnight Sun.

(Also, I love how Edward worships Carlisle.)

It sucks for Edward that he’s constantly fighting with himself about what the future might bring for Bella if he stays with her, all the while having to see her as a “soulless” vampire in each of his families heads.
