fanfiction needs less elaborate safewording systems and scene negotiations and more period-typical homophobia sorry #hatersevening
Well fuck.
abstract and modern art haters are sooo snobby like klein literally Created an entirely new pigment and then painted a canvas in a way where the brush strokes wouldn't be visible. the insinuation that people with no skill could reproduce that is so annoying because unless you are skilled at color mixing and painting you definitely couldn’t lmao
i hope it's okay to add this because i think it hits the nail directly on the head
Honestly, it's like picking up a book and saying "I know all these words, I can type, I could have written this" like there's no middle step between the technical ability and the finished work.
It's saying "I could write this exact book" while holding a copy of the book in your hand. Like yeah shit you could, it's substantially easier to copy words that are already there than to create something from nothing.

i feel like an often overlooked downside to 10-episode seasons and the death of the "monster of the week" format is that we get way less whump variety nowadays. used to be that there'd be dozens of opportunities for your fave to get punched or kidnapped or hypnotized or what have you. these days if it doesn't fit into the main plot, it just doesn't happen. this is a tragedy. we should be protesting.
maybe i like my tech a little bit inconvenient
maybe i like pulling out my debit card instead of using apple pay. maybe i like untangling my wired headphones. maybe i like typing something into the search bar instead of using siri or whatever. maybe i like curating my own social media feeds over an algorithm. i just don’t think everything has to be perfectly streamlined and efficient i like it when things feel tethered to the real world.
'i asked chatgpt' ok well i asked the trees that speak latin and they told me to tell you that you're a cunt
‘They stepped into Adam's room; they made it no farther. In the dark, they tangled in each other for several minutes, and finally broke off when stubble had made lips sore.’

"pride month is over" yeah but now its kavinsky summer 2025 be the man you wish you could be. dream yourself a friend group. do drugs and be no homo three balls gay. crashout over your situationship and kidnap his brother then blow up and die. change the trajectory of their lives.
Okkotsu Yuta is such a funny character cause you're initially introduced to him as 'super powerful upperclassman studying overseas' and you go 'ah yes, I recognize this trope- this is a Secret Tool that will help us later, he will return an opportune moment when things look most dire to aid Our Heroes' but then you watch his prequel movie and realize it's all about him ending his toxic comp het relationship with his childhood best friend('s ghost) and getting what amounts to a magical divorce and then you realize he is a giant loser (affectionate) and actually he's not overseas training, he's off doing some 'eat pray love' white girl shit and trying to Find Himself post divorce, and you think "well good for him"-
AND THEN when he finally shows up in the story proper he's back in the EXACT SAME TOXIC COMPHET MARRIAGE he spent his prequel getting out of, because it turns out said marriage was the source of his Terrible Cosmic Powers and not only is he not here to help Our Heroes, he's gunning for the Main Protagonist specifically because said protagonist (accidentally) cut off his side piece boyfriend's arm and so he Must Die, and no it turns out that Yuta did not in fact learn anything from the events of the prequel about his attachment issues, co dependency, and letting go, and he fully intends to weaponize his toxic marriage to avenge his boyfriend in a conflict that could maybe level all Tokyo but who cares about that? A bad thing happened to Someone He Loved and it's Overreaction Time Baby.
Anyways, Okkotsu Yuta is a loser (overwhelmingly affectionate) and I support him 100%.
Yuta literally said "he hurt my boyfriend so I'm killing him" like literally said that
