Hey everyone, as pretty much all of you know, I suffer from a rare genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Type 3. This disorder causes me severe pain on a daily basis in my joints, along with affecting my skin and organs. On the outside I look normal, this is known as an “invisible disability.” Just because you cannot see what is wrong with a person, doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything wrong. Because this is such a rare disorder, May is Ehlers Danlos Syndrome awareness month in which I along with many others are trying to raise awareness about this debilitating condition. Help raise awareness of this and many other rare conditions, as this particular one is near and dear to my heart.

I was so happy, hanging with my friends in the quad celebrating the last day of classes and it was really nice. Then one girl decided she wanted to walk to the park (20ish min). I explained that I physically could not walk to the park and back. (I already had told her I was having a flare). But she and everyone else decide they are gonna go anyways leaving me all alone. Now I'm not really sure that I am allowed to be upset over it or not But I am.

I don't know what to do

I'm 99% sure that my friend is relapsing with an eating disorder and I have no idea what to do. She won't talk to me about it and her friend (now college roommate) who went to boarding school with her for treatment isn't really being great about it "I didn't sign up to deal with this" and I can't be there anymore bc it is really triggering me badly but I feel like I need to be there and I honestly don't know what to do to help her without making it also hurt me worse than I already am.
