the thing about cordelia and angel that you have to understand is that on their list of priorities, being in love is so very far down the list. like it’s for granted! of course they love each other, they’re cordy and angel! their trust & friendship & and just plain old liking of each other so far outweighs any kind of romantic interest (although it’s there. it’s very there) that you can do basically anything with their relationship and make it stick so long as they are each other’s number one forever and ever. like at the end of the day they’re family and they chose each other and that is ALWAYS going to trump whatever gets thrown at them. guys of all time

“Hey,” Cordelia claped her hands behind her and put on her most charming smile. “Do you um… have some sugar?”

Angel wanted to be annoyed. He really did. She hadn’t left him in peace for more than a couple of hours since she had moved in the apartment next door a week ago. Which was why he was extremely frustrated by the fact that he found her pestering him almost amusing. He was not using the word adorable. 

“Cordelia, there are just two problems with that request. One, I’m pretty sure you’re version of cooking is pouring the chocolate sauce over the ice-cream you just bought.”

She opened her mouth to produce an indignant reply but he went on.

“And, two, I don’t eat. So I’m permanently out of sugar. Or salt. Or eggs. Or anything,” he said, lifting a questioning eyebrow at her.

“Alright! … F.R.I.E.N.D.S is only half as fun when you are watching it alone,” she groaned theatrically, battling her eyelashes at him.

“Fine,” he sighed in defeat. “But just 2 episodes.”

They finished the whole season.
