I’m alive! I don’t really have plans to return here at the moment. Aside from not having enough time to work on either of my dhmis blogs anymore, there are some other, more serious reasons I won’t get into of why I haven’t been here and why I don’t plan on coming back. I hope y’all will respect that and I’m sorry for disappearing without a word!

That being said I don’t want to delete because I have a lot here and who knows, someday I might want to come back. As for ATT, that’s a bit more complicated and I’m going to leave it the way it is, even if I do come back here.

Hello, I hope you are doing well. I really appreciate everything you have contributed to the Dhmis community with your blog. I am working on a ultimate version of the pilot improving the image quality of all the leaked clips with the help of an AI, also muting the background noise and animating the parts that are still missing, I was just wondering if I could use your synopsis of the pilot as a source for the animated parts (I'll give you credit if you want). Also if I could ask you a few more questions about some synopsis details. I hope I don't bother and I send you my best wishes

Thank you for asking, but no, I do not want to be associated with leaks. I respect that folks want to recreate the pilot now because it’s potentially tied up in legality, but I don’t want to be involved in anything dealing with leaked footage.

You are welcome to paraphrase the synopsis (and please do so without credit). I posted it to be public knowledge. What I don’t want is folks using my art or exact words alongside footage.

Again, thanks for actually asking! I’ve seen a lot of folks just using my art. At least they didn’t credit it lol

As for details, what you read on my blog is what I can offer. It’s been four years since the pilot and I have poor memory, anything I answer now will definitely not be accurate, sorry!

saw a post about why you're not here anymore and I am sorry for whatever you are going through. life has been tough for everyone but there is always someone to talk to that always have your back. Thank you anon. Please don’t worry about how I’m doing! My reasons for not continuing ATT were serious, but not harmful or hurtful to me. My minimal presence on this blog is more due to having an ungodly amount of work at all times. In a perfect world, I would love to rant about puppets daily, but I don’t have that luxury anymore 😔

Do you ever get irritated at the fact that people know you only for the DHMIS pilot?

Nah. I have a lot of other things going for me that I am known for elsewhere and am fulfilled by! I also have yknow, my askblog. People definitely know me for that here as well. My presence here is a tiny facet of my life at this point. At most with this blog specifically, I have to step back and remind myself that I’m like.. some weird puppet micro influencer and be careful about how I say things, which are more often than not, taken as gospel.

That’s what bothers me. Occasionally, people assume that I am *the* source on the pilot and everything I say is completely accurate. To be honest, I think the dhmis fandom is primarily a lot of excited kids who want more content because let’s face it, we don’t have a lot! That much I can understand and I tried to offer as comprehensive a look into it I could without pirating because I care about this series and want others to be able to enjoy it. So I don’t want to turn people away from interacting with me about it, because I *do* have a bit more knowledge than the average dhmis fan, but ppl need to realize I am only human, and I do not remember it well at this point (and for the most part, folks respect this!)

On people asking pilot questions: I like talking about it, and I do have a bit more knowledge on it than those who haven’t seen it so I get that folks want to hear from me. That being said, I feel like there is a lot of assumption that I know *everything* about it or that I can speak to really specific questions, which I can’t. Do you think anyone would be willing to make a remake of the lost DHMIS Pilot if the creators outright confirm that it’ll never be released? Would you support the project and how do you think it could be done online without getting copyright claimed? How would one adapt the last 7 minutes and how long would it take?

I would ask you the same, anon! I have a job and own two businesses, I just don’t have the time for this!

Now, I'm not seriously complaining because I'm trying to make the conscious decision of not making this blog a repository for whining, because I want to enjoy my drawing process so I don't incinerate my motivation, but an interesting problem I am running into is Steve and his stupid uncentered head is that little gestures and poses one might take for granted will just not immediately work on him.

Like here, Penny has just complimented him, and he's flattered because he's a trash man who never receives praise. So, I tried to just do the awkwardly scratching the back of the head thing to denote that he's surprised by the sudden praise from this unusually nice clock woman he's not formally met yet. But his head is uncentered an I can't even tell if the position and expression express what I am trying to get across.

Hey! I want to ask you something about the don't hug me I'm scared pilot! Does duck has a different design in the scene where is with the punk yellow guy? Because in the trailer duck looks a bit different in that scene.

I’m sorry, but I can no longer answer asks about the pilot because I’m not confident at all in my memory. I saw it once nearly four years ago, any info I give now will be extraordinarily unreliable.

If the DHMIS series somehow had a video game adaption, what would you want it to be like?

a DHMIS video game would need to be the most shitty, pointless game ever crafted to truly fit the tone of the series. it needs to look exactly like one of those educational games from the early 90s and needs to be a point-and-click thing where all you do is click objects in a room and get blatant misinfo in return
