As many people are still confused about the media I choose to work with, this video will help you to understand the basics of digital painting. If you think about it, it is not much different from a piece of paper, as artist's interaction with the painting is as direct. In both scenarios artist draws on a surface using a drawing/painting tool in a hand (weather it`s a brush, pencil, or a pen). There are certain programmes that let creative people draw on paper or canvas that have different textures, that let you choose between oil, acrylics, gouache, watercolour, ink, pastel, charcoal, pencils, coloured pencils, crayons, markers - basically, whatever you want. So this breaks every limitation that artists had faced before (such as not being able to use pastel on oil ) and most importantly, this helps you, dear customers, to receive art work, that:
*is more creative;
*is much cheaper, as artists don`t need to spend money on expensive oils or other media;
*can be done in very short period of time,
*can be given to you in a wide range of formats (starting from a small portrait on your business card, continuing with a picture of your family on your desk at work and finishing with a huge painting on the wall at home),
*can be printed on any kind of surface, such as canvas, handmade paper and so on;
*can be modified very easily!
