Heather had never had much of an active interest in tattoos before. Sure, she had seen a few particularly lovely works of her favorite flowers and had been drawn enough to them, but never tempted enough to shell out the money to get under the needle before. But now… Well, she was looking to bury her memories of the experiments as far down as she could manage, though she knew she’d never quite be free of them. And maybe associating needles with art and flowers would serve her a lot better than guilt and regret.
Senua naturally had an affinity for most things on the scale of creative. You name it, she's probably at least dabbled. Tattoos kind of just fall hand in hand with being Djinn. She could have taken a more lucrative role perhaps, with what she can do. But there's just nothing like having such an intimate impact. Tattoos can have such a strong connection to the person choosing it. There's a spiritual level... For those who weren't just playing on a whim, anyway. Not that she didn't enjoy putting so edging together from her sheets, either. She was working on setting up one of the books filled with examples of her work, when Heather came in. She kept quiet for a moment as the other woman looked around some before she's clearing her throat gently. Her voice soft but clear, "What can I do for you today~...?"

Adela was reveling in her newfound freedom. Or rather, relative newfound freedom. She may have still belonged to Sabine, but without a cell to return to or a claim on her neck it definitely felt like freedom. Which, of course, seemed to only fuel the sass and ego that had seemed to endear her to the Elder in the first place. So, she was starting to fall into the old habits of considering any questions she asked a mere formality. “You weren’t saving this seat, right?” she asked as she slipped into the empty one beside a particularly alluring woman without receiving a response.
Senua is often times rather distracted, and now really wasn't much different. Her nose was firmly in a rather lengthy looking book, and there's a notebook open in front of her covered in symbols, scrawled words. She doesn't even realize the other woman was sliding into the seat next to her-- until she was right there. Her dark honey gaze widens for a split second over that tome, before she's humming and shaking her head in the same. "Saving? Oh-- No. No I wasn't saving it. " She pauses a moment, her gaze fluttering over a few of the other tables around them, before her attention is back on Adela. "Did you need help with something...?"

Senua certainly wasn’t aiming to be intimidating, she knew that much. She may not be able to do much in the way of easing the strife of that brand in the long run, but intimidation certainly wasn’t key. She snaps her fingers lightly and nods, tossing one of the pamphlets back onto the counter to pluck her phone from her pocket. “Great minds think alike, my dude. Egg rolls and chicken fried rice it is!” She’s bringing said phone to her ear, as she leans her hip against her counter, “In the mean time, why don’t you tell me a little about yourself?”
“Sure, but only if you tell me about yourself next,” He smiled, leaning against the counter as he became more comfortable around her. “My name is Bryce, I’m a vampire, I look to be twenty three, but I’m really two hundred and twenty three, I’m bisexual, my favorite color is black but sometimes also red, I’m a dog person, I like playing video games, I’m decent at singing but I would never do it in front of other people, and I really miss having my own apartment to decorate. Your turn!”
The woman seems to think that one over, pursing her plush lips in an equally thoughtful fashion. Before another light smile curves her lips, and she shrugs. She didn't see too much trouble in that, naturally she'd divulge however much she liked. "Oh, my turn?" A light chuckle before she continues, casually setting two glasses onto the counter top. "Okay~. My name is Senua. I'm a Djinn, and I'm twenty-five and a lotta change. I sort of joke that I'm Asexual, but that's not exactly right. My favorite color is Lavender, I'm a cat person-- who doesn't like video games? Andd... I've been known to be a little song bird. Used to go to open mic night at a bar a few blocks from here.." And the door bell rings, "And that sounds like food. Be a cool dude and answer that for me? I paid them already."

It was honestly dumbfounding. No, it was honestly straight up dumb that the young djinn had decided to move back here. So close to the very place she had managed to rid herself of some time ago. Was she a glutton for punishment? Wandering towards the chateau with her camera hanging from around her neck; a constant companion. She had finished unpacking about a week and a half ago and she had been easily avoiding the place until now. She didn't even know what she was intending to do, actually. Duck in, see if the place still creeped her out? Hope that she's been gone long enough that there isn't anyone left to recognize her? Senua never claimed to be the brightest.
By the time she actually steps inside, she's only further distracted by the sight of the cages. Because they aren't the same cells she remembers. The cold steel bars are no more, replaced by walls. Half the doors were even left open. It's instinctive that her hands move to wrap around her camera, but it's a short pause before she's lifting it to her face and casually snaps a few quick pictures. Hums thoughtfully and heaves an equal sigh.. Yeah, it still creeped her out. It's another short pause, before she stops short of colliding with someone suddenly just right there.
"Oh! Did you want to be in the shot? I can take another~...?"
“No. I’d prefer you’d not photo me in any sense. Why are you taking them anyways? This place is miserable and I’m sure no one else would want their photo taken either.” The blonde stated looking around at some of the empty cells. She was glad to be out of hers. The cold metal cells brought memories that made her angry. But she controlled herself.
The young Djinn pauses a moment to peer over the other women's shoulder, before she's pushing some of her braids up and over her shoulder. Just to give herself a little sympathetic wince, because it sounded stupid before it even left her mouth. She always contemplated whether she should actually let alone know that didn't already. She shrugs broadly, before actually commenting. "It's different from when I saw it last. My cage actually had bars. I don't know why exactly. I just had to get a look at it myself. Just taking a stroll through yourself~..?"

Senua finally just heaves a great big sigh, throwing her hands up in her annoyance. Before scrubbing a hand over her mouth before dropping them back to her sides. She stopped listening pretty quickly this time, already just– tired of this whole interaction. It had her hanging out in the chateau a whole lot longer than she desired. “And if I say pretty please?”

The vampire arched an eyebrow at Senua’s words, a smirk on her lips “It may be something that swayed me, but I would need more than just that, cherie. More of an apology for earlier conduct, just so I know that you’re serious” she mused, giving the slightest waggle of her eyebrows.
Senuas' gaze narrows with clear displeasure before she gets the chance to catch herself, but she manages to at least bite her tongue. Chooses to cross her arms over her chest, instead. "I think maybe I need you to clarify.. For earlier conduct? Sure, I could have been mistaken.."

It was way too early for the woman to go around demanding folks start calling her Miss Senua or something like that. She nods towards her kitchen, just to pause a second at his question. Before she’s catching her bottom lip between her teeth thoughtfully, and shrugging one in the same. “Well… I’ve got no reason not to be… Of course you can ask. I’m not a mistress, I’m not quite so self-entitled.” Once in the kitchen, she raps her knuckles against the counter top. “How bout Pizza? Or Chinese?” She holds up two little take out pamphlets and flashes another smile.

Bryce had almost forgotten that civilians can rent out slaves, a little shocked to know that he wasn’t in the face of a master for once. “Oh, I see…” He trailed off softly, a little less intimidated. “I’m not picky, but eggrolls and chicken fried rice sounds great right now,” He sighed, reminiscing on the taste of it. He didn’t really need to eat actual food as a vampire, but he definitely didn’t mind indulging just because it tasted good.
