Manitou
The Great Spirit Manitou
Who in his deepest wisdom gave
The land and all the duties with it
To the Anishinabee
Resides, it's said, in rushing
Waters in the lake named for his
Sake and thunders from the narrow straight
Find him, there's no need to pray
As I drive by on the One
I give ol' Manitou a wave
A fairy sits upon my shoulder
Gayly whistling away
