Real Acotar fans won't talk bad about gwyn and Elain just to prove their ship is superior, because both Gwyn and Elain are queens who have their own complex backgrounds and emotions. Real Acotar fans also understand that they both play bigger roles in the series than just being objects of Azriel's "desires".

Stop limiting Female characters to the "love interest" when both of these women could easily make huge impacts in any upcoming conflicts in the next books but everyone is out here talking about how horrible their characters are because they get in the way of Azriel x "whoever". Stop this micro-misogyny people, stop putting women against eachother over a man!

If you don't like a character that's fine but don't make the reason you hate them be because of a ship, you can dislike their personality or their actions but don't make women hate women because of romance with a man, not in the big 2026, not in the age of women supporting women, not on my watch
