Work as usual, was hell. Though Taylor knew she couldnât really complain. After all she got to work on cars all day, and make money, which fuelled her addictions, chicken nugget and otherwise, so she couldnât complain. But, that didnât mean that she was going to pass up a night out after a long day. And sure most people looked at night outs as something to do with friends but considering Taylor was more of the lone wolf type, friends were never really her style, especially when it came to going out. Most of the time she ended up leaving with a lady, and the last thing she needed was some friend getting in the way of her working her magic.
Scoping out a few places it didnât take Taylor long to find a place, especially when said place was advertising that girls got in for free that night. Which meant high traffic of over eager dudes, but Taylor wasnât too worried about them. Within the hour Taylor had talked up a few people, gotten a few drinks and had been spending her time with one girl in particular, and judging by the way the girl was practically gripping her bicep at every other word she said, Taylor knew sheâd found her keeper for the night.
âYou know, my apartment is just a few blocks away,â
Her gaze travelled from the eyes she definitely hadnât been looking at all night, to the fingers that were currently playing with the bottom of her shirt, a slight smirk instantly settling over her lips. Sure, picking up girls in bars might be a cliche but hey it was a cliche for a reason and Taylor would never be opposed to hooking up with a girl from a bar, especially if said girl had incredible breasts, legs for days and was offering to bring her to her apartment, which usually meant she could get snack food out of it.
Though this time her gaze was taken away from her possible hook up for the night and to a group across the crowded bar. The typical rowdy assholes that Taylor tended to start bar fights with, though this time she noticed the assholes werenât just being typical dudes, that there was a poor soul having to deal with them first hand.
âI..Yeah hang on babe,â taking the girlâs hands off of her Taylor stood up on her toes to glance over at the situation better. As her eyes settled on the girl near the bar she felt that slight twinge in her chest to go over there, blame her hero complex or whatever it was.Â
But without another word to her new companion Taylor made her way through the crowded bar, waiting a few feet away to actually try to listen in this time.Â
âPretty little thing like you, Iâm sure the three of us would be quite the treatâ
Rolling her eyes Taylor had to admit, these dudes were the ones that gave actual gentlemen like herself bad reps. Glancing back at the situation she told herself not to over react, to just be chill. But the moment she had noticed one of the dudes grubby hands making a reach for her, Taylorâs feet were moving before her mind could catch up with the motion.
âHey babe, sorry I took so long. You know what bartenders are like, they can talk up a storm....â Turning her gaze on the three men from her new spot next to the girl, Taylor narrowed her gaze. âCan I help you?â
âWho the fuck are you supposed to be?â
âHer girlfriend. So you know, better luck next time my man. Sheâs not interested in you,â
âPfft, as if youâre her girlfriend. I think she can speak for herself and she sure as fuck did, didnât you princess?â
Narrowing her gaze Taylor went from glaring at these assholes, to making sure she was the one thing between them and the girl at the bar.
âLook buddy, she already has a girlfriend. She clearly has no interest in being with you, so fuck off. Alright?â
Now, Taylor would be the first to admit that yeah, most times she was the one starting bar fights, after all they were fun who wouldnât want to. But this time, surprisingly, it was all the other party.
So when one of the guyâs buddies made some off handed comment about fucking both of them, some drunken slurred comment was more like it the fist that connected with the side of her face hit her before she even had a chance to try and make out with the other idiot was trying to say.
Sure, she could have just walked away. But that wasnât really her style. She was a brawler by nature, so even if completely outnumbered she didnât hesitate before taking her own swing at this guy. Outnumbered or not, she wasnât going to let these three creepy stooges lay a hand on this girl.
A black eye, busted lip, bruised knuckles, and probably some bruised ribs later Taylor chuckled a little once she was âescortedâ (though basically just shoved) out of the bar. The guys whoâd ganged up on her being tossed on to the pavement before scampering off once the threat of the cops came out.
Rolling her eyes she straightened out her jacket, patting around the pockets. âFuck, seriously....â just as she went to turn back to catch one of the security guards. âAny chance I can get back in to grab my smokes?âŠYeah didnât think so.âÂ
