Kid friendly, appeal to a wide audience. When you appeal to everybody, you lose insight, depth, the ability to make something mature, all that makes them something more. When you appeal to all, no one finds it appealing.

I hate it, I'm offended to see such, uninspired husks bending over backwards to no one that cares. A blind trust in brand loyalty and that it will attract new customers.

They will learn. They have too. Their life is on the line. Not everyone will love you, and attemps to strive for that will merely drag you deeper into your own flaws and mistakes, until you fire your last employee, make your final dollar, and finally after so long, close your colorless doors, in your bland kid friendly business.
