Neal’s swung his backpack off and it’s dangling by his hand when he rounds the bed. He flails uselessly at being pulled on top the other boy and he lets out a little squeak.

     ❝Dummy. I missed you too,❞

He grins, letting go of his bag. It slips to the floor and he snuggles into Kill, his chin touching the top of the other boy’s fluffy head. He presses a light kiss on his boyfriend’s hair before he shifts and lies down on the comfy bed.

     ❝—So how was Christmas eve?      Did the Jones family throw a grand      ball? Your living room’s so festive it      looks like it came out of a freaking      fairy tale.❞

He glances up at the feel of Neal's lips and catches it in his. When they part, he lets Neal get comfy in his bed while he rolls to his side and props himself on one arm to face his boyfriend. "I know," he said as his fingers played with Neal's shirt. "Mom can really go crazy with the decorations. I feel sorry for Al and everybody who has to clean it up. How was your Christmas eve?"

Neal called out as he opened the bed- room door. Adjusting his backpack’s strap, he beamed and let himself in.

❝Well, Christmas was yesterday but  today still counts so— Merry Christmas  Mr. Sleepyhead.❞

Kill wasn't his usual cheery self. Spending the holidays away from Neal enervated him. 

Sluggishly, he sat up and grabbed at Neal's jumper, pulling the other boy back to bed with him before immediately wrapping him in a tight, full-body embrace. "I missed you." His words were muffled as he buried his face in Neal's chest. "I missed you."

     ❝ Pssh. Well— I’ve never      kissed a bald guy before. ❞      Neal’s face heats up as he      tiptoes and gives Kill a peck      on the lips.

     ❝ —Hmm. It’s not so bad. ❞      He feigns nonchalance as      he looks away, trying to hide      his widening smile.

Kill anticipated the kiss, watching Neal as he came close and tiptoed to give him a light kiss on the lips. When the other boy moves away, he pulls him back to him to give him another kiss. This time, deeper and longer. His arms twisting around Neal's waist to make sure his boyfriend doesn't go anywhere until he's got his fill of those cherry lips.
