With my writing process, I am most proud of the length. I am happy I learned how to be straight to the point and consise in my writing without going on and on which I struggled with previously before taking this course.
I think having a good length for your writing is a good skill to have. You don't want too much, but you also don't want too little.

What are you most proud of with your writing process?
I am most proud that I have learned to revise and adjust my writing over time and not rush into it. I consider all the details and my content strategy now. This is something I didn’t do much of before this class, and I am grateful to have gained significant knowledge in content strategy.
It is always good to revise and adjust your writing over time and not rush into it. This is something I have been trying to work on as well. I also never thought about all the details before I post which I do now since the class.

I am proud of the way I have learned to analyze data and move it into usable information to create strong visuals. Learning data-driven web writing helped me think more complexly. I am also proud of how much personal growth and reflection I have gained this semester.

The assignment instructions seem to be relatively clear. @npfannen The only thing I wasn’t sure about was formatting. How should these questions be formatted? Are we just listing the questions and answering them, or does it have to be in a reflection-based essay?

Share an example of your favorite television show or movie -- how does that show/movie help you work through this project and understand angry fandom?
One of my favorite shows is Stranger Things, and it really helps me understand angry fandom and how fans react when something they love changes. When characters were killed off, relationships shifted, or the plot started to move away from what made the show great, fans flooded social media with frustration and disappointment. Some even made petitions or vowed to stop watching. Their reactions weren’t just about being mad but they were emotional because they felt connected to the story and its characters. That kind of passion helps me see both sides: the fans who feel hurt or betrayed, and the creators or network who have to respond thoughtfully without making the situation worse.
I tried to get into Stranger Things, but I just was not able to. I can definitely see how characters being killed off, relationships shifting, or the plot moving away would be upsetting, especially for that show.

Share a section of your design project content. What is the work of this sample? How can we help you revise?
I added an example of my show cancellation post from the tv studio. I don’t know if it looks polished and professional like it would if an actual stdio. Also are the words too hard to read? Do you have any suggestions to make it look more professional/ scroll stopping?
To me, it is just a wall of text at the moment. I would blur the background a tad more. Also remove the white outline on the text. I would try to make the text a little more concise because I think you have a little too much. Other than that, I think it looks ok

For me one of my favorite shows was the original teen titans cartoon show that aired on cartoon network. For what ever reason and im pretty sure I could get that answer really quick but the final episode just ended in a cliffhanger, the ending scene was just a cut to white and then the show ended. I remember as a kid i was super upset with this because ending a show like that seems lazy and really pointless. Maybe there was a ratings issue or something along the lines where it was no longer profitable but to end a series that lasted 5 full seasons like that made me angry. With that I wanted to portray the same type of emotion I felt when that happened to the fictional cancellation of the "favorite show".
I did the same thing by portraying the same emotions as my actual favorite show. I found this really helped me to shape my posts as an angry fandom.

Share an example of your experience as a fan of a show that was canceled.
           I loved a show called “Cobra Kai.” There were six seasons, and it was a fantastic show. After the sixth season, the show was canceled. They did end it with finished stories; however, I really wanted more! This show brought my family together, as every week when a new episode came out, we would all sit and watch it together. It gave me common ground, especially with my son, as we bonded over this show. It became an emotional attachment for me, and when it ended, I felt a sense of loss. We haven’t yet found a new show that my whole family likes to watch together.
That is good, though at least the show ended with the story actually being finished. That is not what I have experienced with shows I previously enjoyed. I can share in the family bonding situation as my family also connected better watching a show together, and it definitely is a loss when something like that ends.

Share an example of your experience as a fan of a show that was canceled.
A show i really liked was cancelled after 3 seasons called “Under the Dome”. It was very frustrating because it ended with many unanswered questions leaving me feel like the entire story just disappeared. Experiencing this made me understand how passionate fans can be and how upsetting it is when you get no closure.

Chicago PD inspired the cop drama genre I chose for this project. Watching it helped me see why fans get so angry. When a character dies or the story stops at a big cliffhanger people are shocked. The emotional investment helped me understand why reactions of fans are intense, and that was how I created my angry fan posts and responses.

To help me complete and revise this assignment, my question is, I noticed under the scenario it says we will create a web writing pivot guide, but under the assignment instructions, I don’t see anything about a pivot guide or instructions on how to do that. @npfannen What do I do? I am a little confused, and any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Explain how audiences connect with show creators and producers on social media
X is made for quick emotional responses, which makes it good for anger over sudden cancellations of shows like Favorite Show. Favorite Show had intense moments and love for characters, so the audience used X to vent, share clips, and interact with the studio or actors.

As a Graphic Designer, I am always looking at and looking for good design. This post may be a bit longer because this is one of my favorite areas.
I would say that the Target Logo is a very good and clever logo design simply because it is a very clean and simple logo. The logo cuts straight to the point, and everyone knows what it is when they see it; you can even tell what company it is without the words below it. It only uses one color, which is good because some logos just have too many colors, and it is distracting. It is simple and not too simple. Some logos are way too simple and don’t get to the point, but the composition of this one works well.

I agree that with any show I have really been into, if it got canceled, I would be so mad. This happened to me on one show called Under the Dome, which I had totally forgotten about until the other day when someone brought it up.

Share a show detail that is upsetting your audience
A show detail that is upsetting my audience is that the fate of multiple characters is left unresolved. The show left a major cliffhanger where a detective was kidnapped and another was shot, and now the audience will not know what happens.
