Hi, hellooo! I was on hiatus due to a prolonged Internet outage but I’ve finally gotten my laptop to cooperate with both me and the new router and I will be back to posting as soon as later tonight! I will be busy for most of the day but I will have time to myself later which will hopefully allow for my creative juices to get flowing again, as they suffered a little bit during my hiatus. 

BUT, I’VE BEEN PLAYING POKEMON SUN AND IT’S GIVEN ME SOME MOTIVATION DJAKSLDJKLASD So while I’m away/thinking of ways to finish replies, has anyone else had a chance to play the new games yet? ;u;

✿Fairy Dust and Clipped Wings

❝It’s my turn already, is it? Ahh… Okay–❞ [/she hesitates but dips her head in a quick bow]

❝My name is Yenny and I’m 27 years old. I’m a police officer for the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department… And I, like everyone else here, lost someone back in 2009. Three someones, to be precise. I guess today we’re sharing the very first prominent memories having to do with those we’ve lost and mine would be… When I brought a Floette home. My parents were startlingly curious about her and actually borrowed her from me for a long while. I didn’t get her back until she had evolved into Florges… And also not until immediately after the Seoul City attacks. Yes, that means that I indeed obtained a Floette before Fairy types were a widely known thing. I got her while on a trip to France and I had no idea what her name was or what type she was and the only reason I knew she was a Pokemon was because I was able to assign her to a Pokeball.

❝My parents were both scientists and this particular memory stands out so much because the course of their work changed forever after meeting Floette. Their research was dedicated to discovering a new Pokemon type and they both remained married to their research until their deaths. GorJess, my Florges who was Floette, could probably tell you more about what happened on the inside than I can because she was with my parents the whole entire time; through all their research and she was even there on the day they were killed. GorJess is who delivered the news to me initially. She fled from Seoul and went back to Busan to find me. She’s remained permanently by my side ever since and… I’m not the only one damaged by the attacks. GorJess has an incredible amount of anxiety and she freaks out if she can’t find me or if she thinks I’m in danger. It’s because she feels guilty about not being able to save my parents… It’s not her fault, though… She knows that. I know that. Everyone knows that.

❝I miss them dearly… So does GorJess. I am her original trainer and she loves me to pieces… But my parents are who trained her up and ran her through some tests in the process of raising her. The tests they subjected her to were not cruel or torturous. They merely observed her doing normal Pokemon things, reacting to normal Pokemon things, eating normal Pokemon food… They simply raised her while jotting down notes. And she loved them a lot.❞

Rewind ✿ Yenny&Hani

“Good morning.” She would smile genuinely, walking towards the dining table as she placed the stew upon it. “Breakfast is ready.” She continued, gesturing for the other to sit across from her. 

“You should eat a lot to regain your strength Officer Yenny.”

“Breakfas---??” she began to say, but paused to process for a moment why this girl knew her name. And her nickname, at that. Yenny's eyes darted back and forth and her jaw slacked slightly while her hungover mind was buffering. She really couldn't come to any conclusion other than the blatantly obvious; scantily clad upon waking, little to no memory of the night prior, in a house that wasn't hers, being called by her nickname, and breakfast being served? She might have slept with the other girl. Still trying to process all that was happening, she glanced over the girl once and silently approved of Drunk Yenny's choices. She bit her lip and slowly approached the table where the food that was prepared was set, trying to recall this girl's name.

When nothing was coming to her, she sighed and rubbed her aching temples. “I'm sorry but I don't think I can remember your name. Could you give me a memory jogger--?”

rock bottom ✿ @jyyenny

it had been a while since she was arrested. 

seated on the curb, with her arms wrapped around herself for warmth, eunha makes a face at the males opposite her. they were panicking, hovering over their friend like he had just been stabbed in the gut not punched in the face. punched in the face by a petite, five foot four girl. they were licking wounds to their ego rather than worry about physical injury. 

rolling her eyes as they yell at each other for an ambulance, she tries not to let the frown appear too obvious. if they garnered enough attention, she would end up on the morning news. while she didn’t care too much about what people said, it did reflect badly upon her. 

it wasn’t her fault he was an asshole. 

she sits through another fifteen minutes of their panic, the fear having not subsided at all for any of them as the time passes until eventually a police car rolls up. eunha had called for it, of course, not wanting to deal with her father’s chastising when she got home. she would much rather just turn herself in.

standing to meet whoever was getting out of the patrol car, she offers her wrists, ready for the familiar taste of metal handcuffs. “hi, officer. thanks for coming.”

Yenny quirked an eyebrow at the younger girl, her eyes glancing over Eunha's wrists for a second before looking back up at her face. She had noticed a gaggle of boys frantically pacing about earlier when she was pulling up to the scene and she could probably guess exactly what went on. “Mmm, no cuffs for you today I'm afraid, miss,” she said in a believably serious tone before giving her “perpetrator” a wink. Opening the back door of her cruiser, Yenny instructed Eunha to just sit tight with Granbyul for a moment while she went to go check on the boys across the street.

There were about four or five boys, still all huddled together with one seated on the curb, a bloodied shirt held tight to his face. One of the boys was running around shirtless so she could only assume he'd been offered the shirt to attempt to stop his nose from bleeding. She didn't really feel any sympathy for them despite not even knowing what happened for sure, but Eunha wasn't one to start fights as far as she knew, but she definitely finished them. Clicking her tongue at them, Yenny leaned in and reached for the bleeding boy's jaw, lifting his face away from the shirt and examining just how much damage was dealt. “You know... If you wanted to fight Jung Eunha, you could just work your way up the Victory League and challenge her, right?” she snorted, pushing the boy's face away. “Either way, guess she taught you, huh?” she mercilessly teased, smiling and giggling as she left them to the paramedics that had just arrived. It didn't really matter who started it or who swung first, she never felt bad for boys who thought they could get away with saying or doing shitty things to girls. To Yenny, that boy got exactly what he deserved.

After getting back into the drivers seat of her cruiser, Yenny turned around to look at Eunha, who was still right where she left her, and gave her a sly half-smile before speaking. “He must have said something really awful for you to break your good streak.”

Rewind ✿ Yenny&Hani

All Yenny's sleep-clouded brain allowed her to register upon waking up was... That she was definitely not in her apartment. She looked around the spacious, but unfamiliar bedroom with tired, half-lidded eyes and yawned before realizing she had very little clothing on. A panicked jerk of her head to the side only made her hyper aware of the headache that was slowly creeping up on her, but she continued looking around for her missing clothes. She found her shirt laying in front of the wide open door, but none of the other stray pieces of clothing that were laying about looked familiar to her. In only her bra and panties, Yenny hopped down from the bed and grabbed her shirt, wiggling back into it, before she began looking for her pants. After searching what she felt like was the entire room, and after realizing that the unfamiliar clothing looked like they might have belonged to another woman, she finally found them bunched up at the foot of the bed under the covers on the side she woke up on.

With an exasperated huff, Yenny crept out of the room fully clothed and entered the hallway, exploring her unfamiliar surroundings a little more. After having time to wake up and come to her senses more, she found that she remembered what she was doing the night prior, but couldn't quite recall how she got to this place. A particularly bad fight with her boyfriend led to her storming out of the apartment and heading downtown to the first club or bar that looked too crowded to handle. Being surrounded by intoxicated people and those who were getting there didn't exactly help Yenny feel any better about her situation, but she remembered feeling like joining the throngs of club-goers on their descent into inebriation would at least let her forget for a while.

Apparently her theory worked because she seemed to have forgotten so much that she willingly followed a stranger home, which was not something she would normally do. Usually she would find a friend or six to hang around with and eventually end up at one of their places. Even after shaking off the disorientation of sleep, Yenny still didn’t recognize this place one bit. It was just as spacious as the bedroom was and she came to the conclusion that whoever the owner is, they were probably filthy rich. She only stopped her exploration when she heard signs of someone else in the area. Rounding the corner of what was clearly a dinning room, she ended up in a kitchen area and discovered a girl busying herself behind the counter.
