when Lemony Snicket wrote “I will love you if I never see you again, and I will love you if I see you everyday” that hurt me
me talking to my inner goddess, asking her 4 help
from what i’ve read
the starry night may be well known now, but once upon a time, the man who created it would starve himself just to finish 800 of his known works. from what i’ve read… he only sold one painting his whole entire life, but that doesn’t really matter because in the end, he became famous after death. these things take time, even if time passes you up. it’ll always work out, won’t it? vincent van gogh may have taken his own life, but he lived for his paintings. and it shows.
i’ve honestly been sitting here for the last hour trying to read up on more famous people to add, but most of the stories are already well known, so maybe i’ll just write about myself and my failures.
life isn’t easy, but we’re still here. life is certainly never going to make any sense at any given time, but i think that’s the beauty of it. i’m starting to see it now. i’m not the smartest person and my occupation can be done by almost anyone who has patience with people. during our life, we’ll come to the crossroads and we’re going to have to wait there until the train crosses by, or just pray that it won’t hit us as we’re running by. our stories intertwined by the empty spaces of our fingers, you’ve always been there for me even when i didn’t believe in myself.
i’m still not worth anything in my own life and i’ve hurt alot of people, but we can’t stop at something just because it hurts, we have to keep moving forward. keep improving. keep going and going and going until going is no longer possible.
to the person, who just feels like it won’t get any better, i can assure you that it does. because when i thought that i couldn’t find love, you showed up. there was a point when i didn’t know if i should keep things up, but with enough support from friends and light love, it’s always possible. there’s always another way. and i’m going to be here for you and when we finally figure it out together, you’ll lean over and we can laugh about it because it wouldn’t be much of a story without a few bumps along the road to a life worth living.
