First photo just sums up the last few weeks, day dreaming out the window for the lockdown to be over ....

The second photo I took on George’s quay before one of the last CCS lectures, can’t wait to get back to college in September

The first photo is of a telephone poll beside my house I always feel they tower over everything around them so i captured the image vertically to give the sense of scale

The second image is a pair of horse brushes my great grandfather won in 1917, I sharpened/darkened the image to push the worn metal forward

My photos today brought me outdoors, the first was taken in my local graveyard, the crowded tree front with the white cloud meeting the blue sky was a beautiful image, I decide not to edit this image at all

The second image was a abandoned beehive that had fallen off a tree. I had save this from the field and kept it in my shed, the patterns alone are amazing

Photo one I focused on the sharpness of the steal handle of our fire place, having the dark orange fire out of focus in the background contrasts the bright shine from the steal

Photo two is a painted plate on our staircase, I pass this everyday multiple times, but stoping and observing it you notice how beautiful it really is.

Final Brief: The first two photos for this collection that will be dealing with various objects in my daily environment.

First image I capture was a birds eye view of the worn grip on my dumbbell, exercising ones a day and having a healthy body also promotes a healthy mind. Heighten the contrast really brought out the colour of the yoga mat

The second image was of my dog Bella, funnily enough this quarantine couldn’t have come at a better time in the sense we had just got Bella and she needs lots of attention and training. I strength the sharpness and lowered the depth to focus more on the fur and the sparkle in her eye
