I am once again spreading Scraggy/Scrafty propaganda. I need others to see my VISION. Can’t stress this enough. (I know regular scrafty should’ve been included but NEXT TIME).

These two are actual characters in a Pokemon mystery dungeon inspired dnd oneshot me and my friends are playing, they’re brothers! I’d yap about their lore but we’ll be here all day :]

I’ve been using a really old artwork I did of a Scrafty Gijinka as a profile pic, so I figured it’s time for a change! And if it wasn’t obvious enough already, the scraggy evo line is my absolute favorite mons within the entire franchise. I shed real tears over this mf out of pure overwhelming serotonin. So yeah, it’s THAT serious. You could imagine my excitement and absolute delight upon seeing that Scrafty received a mega evolution! AND THE DESIGN IS STRAIGHT GAS.

My ABSOL Gijinka

Usually Absols are seen as misunderstood rogues, tough to crack but are softies on the inside. Well not this one. This one’s an absolute prideful sassy jerk who plants himself above others. And yet, he remains popular which doesn’t help his massive ego. I have a certain weak spot for bastard type characters, if this wasn’t obvious already.

I’ve actually featured this design in one of my earlier posts regarding a dark type gijinkas meme redraw.

Hey anon, thanks for checking in on me! I appreciate it lots. Life happened basically, but I’m doing stellar now so I might go back to posting here!

Some updates:

I got therapy, finally officially diagnosed with adhd and received medication for it. Since it was heavily affecting my workflow (motivation), and personal relationships, esp with my family.

Then I also went to Japan for a week, that was fun (broke as hell now having spent most of my money on weebshit).

I’ll return to posting more art, so don’t you worry. I’m not abandoning this account after how much Tumblr treated me so well as a new poster.

Reworking my past gijinka design for Gengar, because DEAR LORD WHAT WAS I THINKING!??

Why did I think that making a fatass ghost LANKY was a good idea? The iconic roundness is what makes Gengar, GENGAR. Also the overall fit was trash, it’s an eyesore to me now. Nothing about it screamed Gengar aside from the color and face.

But don’t worry, I fear I may have cooked with the redesign. Simpler, yet more effective. Stay tuned for the finished piece, enjoy lookin’ at him butt booty nakey before social constructs demands he be clothed.

I might do Snorlax next. Totally not because I crave bara yaoi or something.

Lemme know how I did or if you have any headcanons you might have from the design alone. I might make them canon if they’re reeeaaally good. >:]
