I just rewatched Mystery Spot and can we just talk about Sam for a second? I mean, everywhere I go on Tumblr I see people posting about how much Dean has been through and what an amazing actor Jensen is. And don’t get me wrong, I’m one of those people too. However, rewatching the show I can’t help but remember how much shit Sam has gone through over the seasons. He watched his brother die many 100 times, lived without him for many months, just to watch him die permanently 10 episodes later. He also spends like a year in hell with Michael and Lucifer torturing him, is so far beyond repair that he hallucinates Lucifer, watched his brother choose Benny over him etc. If someone needs some love on here it’s Sam and Jared freaking Padelacki. ‘Cause that performance is the best and most heartbreaking thing I have ever seen.
