“ I Tossed Powder On Some Dogs, And The Result Turned Out Amazing (13 Images) “
The sweetest boy 💕
Mr. Cinder's first snow!
Been MIA on here for a hot minute. All the pups are doing well! My partner and I also rescued this stray kitten off the street on Thanksgiving eve. He's since been checked out by the vet; there's no microchip and he's healthy! So everyone meet Cinder (:
I was singing to Pepper and my heart just melted. She's so precious and I love her so much! 💕
Meals made for champs! 💪🏼
It's this kid's 4th birthday! Can't believe it's already been 4 years!
This face kills me every time.
I love you so much!
I love this photo.
Such royalty!
All tucked in and ready for bed 💤
What would you say is the good and bad about shibas? From your experience😊I am trying to narrow my future dog list, any helpful info is appreciated!😊😊
I guess it depends on what traits your looking for in your future dog. My boys are generally friendly towards strangers because I socialized them when they were puppies. Cheeto approaches just about anyone fine, Onyx is just iffy about children and only howls at them. From previous Shiba meet-ups I've been to their Shibas tended to be more reserved. They also tend to be dog aggressive or don't like dogs in their space. It could just be their preference though. For instance Cheeto hates German Shepherds; I have no idea why but whenever one enters the dog park he wants to fight them so I usually leave when one enters the park. Onyx has only played with like one dog he didn't know without getting pissed off. They're smart, Cheeto and Onyx learned tricks fairly quickly and after they sort of got it down they only did things when they wanted to. They're very stubborn. I'm lucky with Cheeto tho and I am able to walk him off leash. If you're looking for an affectionate dog, you most likely won't find it in a Shiba. From what I've heard girl Shibas start out affectionate and grow out of it. And boys were the opposite. My boys are affectionate to a point but nothing like my Elkhound and Husky mix who ooze affection. They're very cat like and like keep themselves clean, Cheeto won't step step in a mud puddle without spending the next 5 mins afterwards to clean himself. He also has to clean everyone else too. Also. There's this thing called the Shiba Scream which they do if you do something they don't want to and it's the sound of the spawn of Satan. Seriously, I walked Cheeto on a collar once and went a direction he didn't want to. No leash pressure or anything and he plopped over and screamed bloody murder. That's all I can think of right now but feel free to ask any more specific questions. Or maybe one of my followers can provide input.
What was your favorite part of your little journey?
I had a little dog lunch date and got to meet Balto from @huskyhuddle and Monty and a very grown up Milo from @wherehorsesmeetdogs. That was fun! But honestly it was being able to actually focus all my attention and spend time with the dogs. I don't get to so much at home with stress and such.
