Hello! I’ve been wanting to attend the story board class for a while! Will it ever be offered on a Sunday vs Saturday? I non-negotiably have to work Saturdays 💀 every time I see it open for enrollment I start frothing with excitement.

I LOVE that you offer this class and that it’s an option for hobbyists/ people not in an animation program!! Thank you for teaching it!

Oh my gosh thank you for your interest! This fall it will be offered on Saturdays, but in the past I have offered it Sunday.

However! The classes are recorded and you keep access to them, and I have office hours once a week after typical work hours pacific standard time. I’ve had some students just make the office hours, and just watch the recording for their feedback and instruction!

Hi I’m Kayla! I’m a storyboard artist and writer-director who has worked at most of the major animation studios as a storyboard artist, and who has years of development experience at Cartoon Network as a creator of an original series. Recently I storyboarded the film Chili Finger, starring Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, and Judy Greer, which premiered at SXSW this year.

I’m once again teaching my repeatedly sold-out class this fall through Warrior Art Camp!

In this class you will not only learn the fundamentals of storyboarding and cinematic language—you will learn what makes a compelling story and characters, and leave the class with a pitchable deck of your own original pilot/film/comic/game to take to any studio or to potential investors.

I finished the Star Trek Doorway quilt. It turned out lovely. I know it looks simple but this was a complicated build. I honestly don’t know how I managed to get the height and width to line up with the outer blocks. #startrek #quilt #handquilting
