sorry I haven't posted in a while
I recently saw a Tiktok where someone was like "How come you can't hate on any other religion without getting cancelled but if you hate on Christianity no one cares?"
To this I have to say a few things:
People do care, you will have Christians in your comments telling you to repent or some bs
Most of the people hating on Christianity are ex-christian with religious trauma or just a bad experience in the church which I would argue gives them a right to dislike the religion, tho that doesn't give you the right to hate on all christains
Most other religions aren't as pushy as Christians. I swear you can't go on any video on the internet anymore without someone in the comments being like "Jesus loves you" or "Jesus died for your sins" and honestly it's like SHUT UP
I do not condone going on Christian social media accounts and giving them hate, you shouldn't deal with your emotions this way.
But I'm pretty sure the "hate" this person was talking about was probably just people talking about their bad experiences in the church or why they are frustrated with Christians pushing their religion on others so hard
I also think the fact that you're saying "but when you hate on other religions you get cancelled" proves that you're probably one of the people that talks shit about other religions like Islam or Buddhism to name a few
I've seen other religions behave annoyingly as well but not to the level that Christianity does it. Especially as someone trying to get into Hellenic Polytheism, I've seen people comment on posts about Greek deities saying "Allah loves you" and shit like that. Please stop pushing your religion onto people, it will do the opposite of what you're intending it to do. Pushing it so hard just makes the religion sound like a joke and become really annoying to hear about
