I'm starting to think part of the reason I like Kaeya so mich is because he gives me the impression of someone who is constantly at the edge of something. Like, secretly really nervous and stressed most of the time. And trying to not look like it, which is such a mood.

sumeru aq+wq+sq lovers, you're gonna love this! i personally spent 9 hours (yes during work hours coz i have the audacity) doing the entire quest because i checked every nook and cranny, talked to everyone, and read everything

- purposely buys ugly stuff to gift to diluc

- tells kids scary stories and legends

- probably cut the landscaping in a funny way at least once based on amber's reaction

- does forgeries (really well) (i hope people pay him for those forgeries but i bet he does it for fun)

- told klee to not get caught doing crimes and breaks her out

- gives prune revenge ideas (the long time alice vs. kaeya beef grows stronger and funnier)

I am done with the latest aq and it truly is a love letter for those who have done the sumeru quests and love the sumeru cast ^^

im not done with 6.6 AQ yet, but as a lore player I AM HAVING THE BEST TIME OF MY LIFE

for those who havent started it yet and want the best context, i highly suggest doing the sumeru world quests and the cyno sq 2 + nahida sq 2 (along with the AQs from sumeru till nod krai)

also its really funny to me how genshin added an info book for the involved characters and other lore important mentions instead of a skip button 😅 the guide book is very helpful to me!

no spoilers from me until hoyo themselves post about it on their socials? but please know sumeru is so skittles squad and so family i love them all

If bodyguard!Childe got accuse of being a stalker to hidden prince!Kaeya, it'd be Diluc's fault. He'd do it on purpose. He would hate him for petty reasons. Crepus, though, would adore him.

Crepus about Kaeya: this is my fake kid. Both his parents are alive, but his home country is a little dangerous for him right now, so he's going to live under my care until things calm down. Which is not that different from temporary fostering a kid. Which means I'm his forster parent.mWhich means he's as good as mine. He looks a little like a bird. Isn't he adorable?

Crepus about Childe: this is my youngest's (Kaeya) bodyguard. He seems a little after him when no one else can. Does a great job at protecting Kaeya, makes him happy, is polite and even can cook. Adeline and I are already looking wedding gifts.

Varka: I only asked why there's a prince on your couch.

The idea came from that scene where the other girl is trying to teach her to eat a hamburger, except it was Jean and Diluc with Kaeya as the one who doesn't know how to eat to pass as a normal person. Because even modern rich kids would be better at passing as normal than royalty.

i bet diluc argued that he couldve been kaeya's bodyguard as his older brother too 😂

also, varka cant talk, he's also the type to overexplain when talking about his own kids!

full bets kaeya deconstructed the burger and ate the parts separately with a knife and fork (thats what i did when i was a kid actually 😅)

It's funny you mention the tower thing bc I'm also kaejean ano who had that dream where Jean has to go through a otome-villainess-unfair-confrontation kind of plot and then goes to save Kaeya in a dragon with Klee and Diluc.

tbh the reason why i didnt post the kaeya tower thing is because im figuring out who would be the group of 4 people that would save him 😅 but the 2 people i was sure i wanted in the party were diluc and the traveler

the thought of klee and jean being the party members would be really cute! i am, however, the angst archon so i kinda didnt consider them (i needed the party to suffer too and i cant put harm to klee!)

For the way some people speak about him, I'd have expected Kaeya to sound way more ambiguous-in-a-flirty-way than he does. Tbh he sounds more like a chuunibyou. Like, if I had no context at all, I' have thought he is just a chuuni with Erza Scarlett's charisma. I wonder if there's someone at Mond who thinks he is just a theatre kid and acts like he does because he should be out there acting and instead got tied into a captain position at the knights.

if i remember right, kaeya himself did say that he would love to become an actor if he ever plans to leave the kof, so with how theatrical he is at times, I'm fairly sure most of his close friends think he'd enjoy being a theatre kid ^^

as for the flirty thing, its mostly with EN's voice directing, but even then, it usually sounds as him being gentle or trying to control the flow of the conversation 😅

tbh, as much as people complain, genshin is still (in my opinion) one of the best ways to get into gacha simply because there's a lot of casual stuff to do besides the main story and exploration + character building

also, getting stuck in random places is part of the fun 😅 fairly sure my kaeya did the splits on several cliffs by now... made him fall off of several cliffs due to running out of stamina too...

Finally got a new phone → saw now I can download genshin → "only to try it a little bit" → spends two hours trying to climb wooden stairs
