“And what is that supposed to mean?”
@acciaioxnero
“Yer a fuckin’ weirdo.”
“...I suppose.”
@acciaioxnero
“The hell ya babblin’ on about now?”
“Uh... how the very existence of life causes us to desire interpersonal relationships?” Good save.
Will I never have a Gajeel to love me?

“Oi oi oi! How can you throw someone’s favour right back at them!” Out of the bottom of the Great Almighty Wonderful Holy Light’s heart did he offer up a precious meal ( even if arguably, for someone their age, a little bun would do little to sate their ever-starving stomachs ), and rejected was his kind gesture. How infuriating. It was not so often that the Great Powerful Shining Super Hero stepped out of his comfort zone and assisted those in need. He was a riot, a force to be reckoned with; a little crook on the streets who was slowly gaining a reputation as he moved from place to place. He had no comrades, no friends; all he truly needed was his own wits and quick reflexes. “You look like someone who really needs it.” Like a scrawny little runt.
“I’m not throwing it back at you. I’m telling you to give it to someone else.”
It had been a little while now since Phantom Lord had fallen, he had always thought it to be a stupid move, to attack Fairy Tail like that, but he was nothing more than a little pleb in the system, hell, he doubted anyone even there really knew he existed most of the time, let alone what he could do. But he wasn’t worse off. His time in a guild had taught him how to conduct himself correctly.
He was never hungry.
“I don’t. I’m fine. Like I said, I just ate.” He gave the insistent kid a look up and down. “You eat it. You look like you need it more.”
❂ || @kagedeyami ; Some STARVING Kid
“You can owe me a favour, but eat this before you faint.” No word of warning was given, he was adept in the art of sneaking up upon unsuspecting strangers, and his unfortunate victim this time ought to thank his lucky stars for the presence of the Great Awesome Super Cool Light! A bun tossed towards the other, lithe form had paused by the raven’s side, peering curiously at the seemingly forlorn male. “Don’t worry, I didn’t drop that one.”
He had already heard him coming, while his senses were not as sharp as he knew they could be come, he was still aware enough to know when someone was walking up behind him. Hand snapping up to catch the thrown food with ease, eyes flicking from it, to the blond, and back again.
“I am not going to faint, and i appreciate the offer, but I am not hungry. I just ate.” Not conventional food, but the newcomer didn't need to know that. Bun would be placed back within the others hand, dusting his own off afterwards. “Give it to someone who really needs it.”
Well- it wasn’t as if she’d expected him to greet her fondly, much less even give a hello. She was rather surprised to see him here as well. Then again, she was in his Guild’s home town, wasn’t sure? So perhaps it wasn’t that big of a surprise to run into a member.
- the fact it was him out of all of them, though? Well, what were the chances?
“Oh Hi, I was actually looking for the local Library in this City and got a little turned around. Its nice to see you though, Rogue.”
Though- that was when it hit her that he probably had no idea who she was,. Eyes blinking, she laughed nervously and saved a hand.
“Sorry- I’m Levy from Fairy Tail- though you probably knew that. Erm, do you think you can help me?”
“The town can be confusing, thats true. When I first moved here from Oak Town I got lost quite often.” He shared with the blunette, it had almost been a little humiliating the first few times when Sting had to come and find him, he never could quite let him live that down.
“Yes, I know who you are.” Though he would omit that he could not remember her name, or perhaps he had never bothered to learn it? She had not been part of the teams in the Grand Magic Games, and any work he had done with Fairy Tail since had him interacting with Natsu and his team.
“But of course. The library isn't big, may I ask what you need?”
"Oh don't be so stiff, Rogue. It's not like we haven't seen you in very little." Of course, he meant that the guild had had their fun times in the pool; but with the Guild Master's habit of cheeky teasing, who was to say that he did not hint at another situation, another occasion?
“Bathingsuits are a different matter altogether.” He growled. As much as he loved every gift his Exceed had ever gifted him with, knowing that she had put so much time, and effort, and love into it. He did not see the need to show everyone his underwear.
“Besides, I am not wearing them today.”
"Not sure if pink is your colour, Rogue. Sides, you should be proud of something Frosch got you." A cocked brow, a grin, Sting only eyed the other's pants with mischief. It was Frosch's hard work, was it not?
“Dont. You. Dare.” He exclaimed. He saw where those sharp eyes were flicking to. He did not fancy having his pants pulled down in the middle of the Hall. Especially not by their supposed Guild Master.
Whose great idea was that again?
“I did not say I wasn’t proud. Unlike someone I do the laundry on the regular basis and don’t need to wear the same pair of underwear every day for a week.”
Competitive Steak
Most of the time, Rogue is calm, cool and collected. But when it comes to games of chance or skill, (like board games, card games or even video games in a real world universe) he can get quite competitive, and quite aggressive.
It also doesn't help that, while he can have a fantastic poker face, hes not very good at games in general.
her eyes followed his as they landed on the exact spot she hoped they wouldn’t. and even more so, she hoped he wouldn’t catch onto the scent. hiding things from dragon slayers would always be a problem.
❛ i’m fine as well, i’ve been.. craving, for the lack of a better term, for a challenging job lately. i might go off on a few this week. ❜
of course, his observation only made her more nervous. yukino had never needed to hide anything from the guild, nor would she be proud in the future of doing something like this. it was measly thing to get worked up over.
❛ oh ? i assure you— well.. as long as sting doesn’t know.. i can assume that you’re fond of cats ? ❜
yukino almost scoffed at her own attempts at lying, and so she gave in. rogue was an honorable person, trustworthy as well. besides, if she lied about something as mediocre as this, it could quite easily break the other’s trust in her in more serious situations.
He would have replied to her first comments, however he felt like there was no need, he could tell it was her own desire to push along the conversation and away from the matter at hand. Though, she did have a valid point, the challenging jobs had seemed to be few and far between lately, likely sourced out to other guilds. Guilds that had competed in the Grand Magic Games this year.
People wanted a name, rather than results.
“Hiding something from Sting?” He chuckled ever so quietly, he couldn't blame her, as close as he was to his fellow Slayer, he knew that the blond had the tendency to overreact, quite a lot, especially when it came to things he liked. Her question though, almost seemed like a silly one as his eyes fell upon the small pink spotted figure that sat beside Lector across the hall.
“Quite fond.”
She was not quite sure what she was doing in the store, browsing through the array of ‘supplies’ she surely did not require. But it was likely the books in the shop front display that had garnered her attention, and feet moved before mind processed ( her head had been suffering through throes of awful awful headaches and she had had little to no proper rest – no exactly a swift mind she currently possessed ). Yet she had cuffs in her hands as she diverted attention to the voice that snatched her from her reverie; confused.
“–A-Ah, Rogue.” Unexpected was the company, perhaps far more unexpected came the ‘advice’, oculars glancing down upon the object she grasped, with no less than utter disorientation. “Why would I need something more like a piece of jewelry?” Returning the cuffs to its original position, she pressed a hand to fatigued self, kneading upon specific points upon facial features, sigh slipping free without restraint. “I don’t even know why I’m here..”
Head tipped to the side slightly, she seemed... confused. Out of sorts, as if she wasn't completely aware where she was. That was a little bit worrisome. Ruby eyes watched as she placed the cuffs back upon this display, watching her hands press upon her face and hearing the sigh that slipped from her lips.
“If you were looking to hide their true purpose. To say, give someone a gift of a pair of bracelets, rather than sneak up upon them to clasp on cuffs. Something a little more... subtle than a front on attack.” Then again, that's what Fairy Tail did best, wasn't it?
“Are you feeling quite alright?” He questioned, the slightest amount of worry crossing his face, he didn't know Lucy well, but Yukino spoke very highly of her, and, as a mage, he had seen what she was capable of. It was worry mingled with politeness and respect.
"This I gotta see." A grin, a laugh; what were friends for if they did not tease? A nudge with an elbow, a pat upon the back, yet no offense was meant, he simply jested. "If Frosch worked hard for it, you have to wear it often."
“See? It seems that you are already aware of said undergarments so why do you need to see them?” He asked, it had been a long time now, so long they were Brothers, he understood when the Light Slayer was simply poking fun. “As often as is appropriate.”
And there she was, offering up without an explanation a carefully mended outfit once belonging to a certain little Exceed, having taken it upon herself to fix the little tear that she had discovered; small smile upon lips as she presses it into his hands. "I believe this is yours, Rogue-sama."
A small smile would grace his own features as she handed him the small outfit, sometimes he marveled at how small they were, how Frosch could really be that tiny. She always seemed so much bigger. “Ah, thank you Yukino… Frosch will be happy to have it back.”
Normally he would take it upon himself to fix her outfits, but had been a little two tired once they got back from their job and Yukino had offered.
"Do you /really/ wear pink underwear?" Sting being a shit, as always
“Frosch bought them for me. She worked very hard to save up enough money to buy me something.”
