A Kimetsu No Yaiba oneshot
A Tanjiro x Kanao one shot
Since I couldn't find any fanfics of these two cuties I decided to write one

It's been two months since Tanjiro left on his job.
He thought it wouldn't take that long, but he underestimated these demons. Good thing that he has his friends with him or he'd be a goner.
Right now he's on his way back home after parting with the others, Inosuke going back home to Aoi's cooking (since he missed it so much) and Zenitsu and Nezuko going back home together.
Tanjiro couldn't be happier for them, Zenitsu has been in love with his sister since he met her and now that Nezuko's a human again they actually got married.
The sweet smell of wisteria flowers made him smile, knowing that he's almost home.
After a ten minute walk, he was standing in front of a beautiful house surrounded by wisteria flowers and cherry blossom trees. The house is even more beautiful under the moonlight.
'She loves Cherry blossom' Tanjiro remembered as he walked into the house, her scent making him smile.
He walked into their bedroom to find her standing out on the balcony, her hair out of her usual ponytail and looking up at the sky.
'God I missed her' Tanjiro smiled and gently placed his stuff down on the ground without making much noise and walked slowly towards her, making sure not to make any noise.
When he finally reached her, he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck, making the girl jump from shock.
"I'm back." Tanjiro muttered as he rested his head on her shoulder and she smiled and turned towards him.
"Welcome home." His wife smiled brightly at him and hugged him tightly.
"I missed you so much Kanao, sorry for being so late." Tanjiro said and she looked up at him.
"It's okay, as long as you come back home safe then it doesn't matter." Kanao replied and Tanjiro smiled at her.
He cupped her cheeks and kissed her, he really missed kissing her in the morning and before they go to bed. He missed her being always by his side. They pulled away and stared into each other's eyes.
"Is Hanako sleeping?" Tanjiro asked and Kanao nodded, "She's in her room sleeping, I had to calm her down since she was crying because she missed you so much."
Tanjiro chuckled and let go of Kanao, he left their room and she followed him to Hanako's room.
He entered to see his 5-year-old daughter sleeping while hugging a picture of her father, he named her after his dead sister's name cause she reminded him so much of her when she was born.
She has her father's eyes and her mother's hair (which Tanjiro really loves). He walked over to her and planted a kiss on her forehead.
The little girl opened her eyes and Tanjiro backed away a little, she sat up and stared at him for a while then jumped at him.
"Daddy!! I missed you so much!" The girl said while hugging her father for dear life, Tanjiro hugged her back with a hand on her head.
"I missed you too Hanako." Tanjiro replied and Kanao walked up to them.
"Didn't I tell you dear that your father will come?" Kanao said with a smile on her face and Hanako turned to her.
"Mhm." She nodded and Kanao hugged her daughter and Tanjiro wrapped his arms around the two.
Tanjiro closed his eyes and enjoyed this moment, he got married to a woman that loves and promised to be by his side and changed for him and he started a family with her. He promised himself to protect them and always be by their side.
Because he didn't want to relive that nightmare where his family dies again.
They all pull away from the hug and he tucked his daughter back to bed and left with his wife to their room.
They both got under the covers and Kanao rested her head on his chest while Tanjiro started brushing her hair.
Kanao smiled as she was wrapped by her husband's arms, who fell asleep right away, she never thought that life would let her meet a man like him.
He was very different from the others, he never gave her orders, he never persuaded her to do something, he gave her time for her to prepare herself to start a family with him, he gave her so much love and compassion that she never thought of her tragic childhood. Aside from Kanae and Shinobu, he gave her freedom and never treated her like a slave.
Her mind went back to when he used the coin to make her say what her heart wants to say, to feel free. Because of him, she's not shy to say what she wants to say and she feels like a new person. He broke her out of her shell and made her bloom like beautiful flowers.
She smiled when she remembered his proposal, taking her to the mountain where the final selection took place because she loved the scenery. He remembers all the little things that she likes to make her smile and know that he really cares about her.
Kanao is so happy that she met Tanjiro Kamado.
And she's even happier that her name is Kanao Kamado.
With that thought, she fell asleep in her husband's arms again.
