rant, don’t mind

Excuse this little rant of mine... I’m a wee bit frustrated. So my mom’s birthday was yesterday, and I couldn’t be there for her party since I had other plans. So instead, I took her out Friday. I also gave her flowers, a pie, wine, and a card. Oh, and I also purchased a Pandora bracelet that has a heart. One side of the heart says mom, and the other side says daughter. Still hasn’t come in the mail yet... But anyways. My father was completely pissed off that I wasn’t able to attend the party, when I tried to explain myself, he interrupted and just said that “I do not want to argue about this”. When I WASN’T EVEN ARGUING... I was trying to explain why I couldn’t make it, yet he refused to hear me out. The reason why I’m so angry about this situation? I got my mother so much for her birthday. I spent WELL OVER eighty bucks to get her a couple of presents. That’s more than enough, as well as that, I was the only person yesterday to even wish her a happy birthday yesterday. So how is this any of my fault?? I don’t understand why he is so pissed off about this. My mom is appreciative of what I have done for her. So why does he care... I wish my dad was able to communicate like an adult instead of severely punishing me like a child. I’m an adult, treat me like a damn adult. If I’m able to approach you, asking to talk about the situation, you refuse, then ignore me for several days... Then who is the child in all of this. REALLY... This isn’t the first time my father has taken his anger out on me, and it won’t be the last. Moral of the story? I have to save every penny I have so I can get out of this toxic household. I’m DONE DEALING WITH PETTY BULLSHIT FROM HIM. Rant over., sorry guys. I know I don’t normally post shit like this but I am at my wits end...
