All her years of fighting zombies taught her to never lower her weapon when confronted with monsters. She does notice that the creature has intelligence behind its eyes. For some reason, it is choosing not to attack.
Jill doesn't relax quite yet. She just inches forward to approach the door, curiosity taking hold. She points at the door, an obstacle to the both of them. "You want in?"
"Hrf!" Godzilla grunts angrily at the kong and slams her tail on the ground as an intimidation display. Its noises are foreign to Godzilla; the tiny kongs never spoke so softly in her presence. Always shouts of terror as they ran, or shouts of anger as they fired their skra. Every fiber of Godzilla's being is telling her to attack the creature, but Mothra's wishes cause her to hesitate. The other kaiju had a kinship with some of these tiny kongs, and would often ask of Godzilla to attempt the same. A low growl rumbles in her throat as her posture slowly de-escalates. She snaps her teeth in frustration, her tail swishing as she considers what to do in this situation.
After a few tense moments, the two beings watching the other for any sign of aggression, Godzilla takes a step back.
"Rrrh. Yyyyy-...Yyy...oo. Wa-at. En." Surprising both of them, Godzilla's new physiology seems to be similar to that of the kong's. Her voice is coarse, rough, as if formed by a creature other than man - but it is undoubtedly an attempt at speech.
