When I had started writing this blog, I was told by other SNS to tag my Sakura and Hinata posts as anti Sakura and anti Hinata so I wouldn't be hounded by their crazy ass stans. Well that didn't work. Lol. Anyway, I began to tag my posts as Haruno Sakura and Hyuuga Hinata, because even if I don't like them, my analysis of them is based on their characters, I am rock solid secure about it and I don't care who reads it and cries about it.
My suggestion to SNS fans would be, take the antis head on if you wish so. Take any anti SNS head on. Any single one of them. Confront them if you want, without hesitation or doubt. No need to be afraid.
As a SNS shipper, just know you are in the right. I am ready to sign it on a bond paper. Just know that they are ALL CATEGORICALLY WRONG, and you SNS stans are right, as long as you have sincerely read and understood the manga.
Know that you are backed by the author of the manga, media experts and aficionados and several casual fans who value accountability and have a mature outlook towards storytelling and life. Say it with arrogance and conceit even, because sometimes intimidation works just as well. Don't waste your energy on things that don't deserve it. But if you do choose to confront, never be meek, never surrender. Be cool about it or aggressive, your choice but don't feel disheartened at their takes, they don't know what they are talking about. Laugh at them if you want, that's what their theories are good for anyway.
Enough of this homophobic caterwauling. This is 2024, and this is a global fandom with many fans who are impressionable and naive. Let them have the advantage of understanding the true meaning of this manga. You are the torchbearers of Naruto's legacy, like I have said before, SNS fans are true Naruto fans, the rest are just posers and bigoted dumbfucks. No more bigotry, no more prejudice, no more bullshit. It's high time. Enough time has passed and all the 'they are just friends waaah' or 'they are just brothers waaah' or 'It is unintentional waaah' type of takes need to GO! Naruto fandom is your space to explore, take advantage and have your fun and thrill too. YOU own it. Go crazy. Saturate the fandom, open up the discussion, destroy the prejudice and dumbfuckery, confront whothefuckever you wish, and do it with relish because you are right and they are wrong. Period.
Do it. Be bold, be strong, be proud. You have the fandom's support, passionate support too because that's what this story engenders in responsible fans. Confront them without hesitation if that's your vibe and smack them in the face with panels from the manga and explain them too, they are quite easy to decode. Just know you can do it because that's what the story is supposed to be, you can't miss it. High time to change this heteronormative narrative. Naruto is a gay love story and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

imagine if naruto were just some random poor baby minato decided to install the nine tailed beast within in order to save his dying wife. naruto not being the child of the hokage is a more reasonable explanation as to why he doesn’t get special treatment for being his only surviving child (with a fuckin uzumaki no less) and why no one ever tells him about minato being his dad throughout his life in the village. it also gives minato some personality outside the stale ‘pretty hokage guy’ who is somehow very nice despite serving a military state utilizing child soldiers well enough he was made hokage at like 23. and the conflict that would have arose between minato and kushina in kushina’s last moments? for condemning a child to the fate of a jinchuuriki like her for most of her life? and then the stupid ass plan backfiring anyway cus they all die when kurama still wreaks havoc on konoha after the jinchuuriki transfer goes wrong. and now the village has no hokage and everyone tiptoes around the unknowing child that somebody decided to put a nuclear weapon in. no bum ass indra vs ashura/senju vs uchiha/good vs evil endgame rivalry shit, just naruto being some guy who’s been thrown into some mess since he was born. a walking casualty of the hidden villages.
naruto keeping true to the underdog message of the earlier manga… minakushi not being a sickeningly perfect couple but one torn apart by morals in their last days… no overdone “special bloodline”/“prophecy child” tropes… NO KAGUYA…
kaguya can stay only if she is mentioned from the very beginning rather than towards the end AND that’s as a mythological figure only; an origin story across the shinobi nations and is invoked only for the sense of antiquity and humanity her name brings, especially among those from dojutsu clans. not as a straight up big boss whose appearance is a total ass-pull in a tired attempt to replace madara’s place as the final antagonist of the story.

The only reason why Boruto was ever interested in Sasuke was because Boruto wanted to defeat Naruto and hearing that Naruto's only rival was Sasuke, Boruto was immediately interested in him, wanted to BE like him. His obsession with Sasuke is rooted in his love for his father, much like when he does stupid things just so Naruto would give him attention.
Because if you think that Boruto hates Naruto for being a "deadbeat" dad, then why tf would he turn to Sasuke who's even a worse dad than Naruto. 😭

Is it me or the author of Jun Esaka aka the author of sasuke retsuden and I believe Naruto retsuden has changed some of the Naruto characters like Sakura, Sasuke, and other characters I believe. Remember this is my opinion on these. For Sasuke retusden there are some things that don’t make no sense to me. 1: Since when did Sasuke use earth style, ice style, and medical ninjutsu when he never used those ninjutsu nor it was mentioned he can never use that ninjas
2: Sakura can use fire style jutsu/Katon style? Sakura can’t even use fire style
3: Sakura is apparently sensory ninja now? Don’t you have to in some clan or sense chakra around them. Sakura came from no clan
4: Why are some of the quotes are similar to Naruto and Sasuke bond.
5: When Sasuke was fighting a dinosaur and then got stopped by hands, he realized it was Sakura hand. So sasuke can realize Sakura hand but not his child?
6: why does it seem that sasuke and Sakura are weak in this? Sakura got stabbed by sasori and was standing strong but in sasuke fetus den she collapsed.
7: Sasuke is immune to poison due to orochimaru but in Sasuke retsduen it effects him? This makes no sense at all.
8: in canon, Sasuke doesn’t visit his family nor he contacts them. He spends time with naruto than his family but here in sasuke retsuden he’s with them?
9: In canon and I believe official arts too, he looks uncomfortable around Sakura and while around he looks comfortable around Naruto.
My final thoughts on this: I’m not hating on Jun Esaka, I’m just criticizing them but what I have heard they got into the naruto series a year ago but I feel they feel like they should have payed more attention to the naruto series read the manga because there are some things that don’t make sense.
Naruto retsuden: Note: I don’t have Naruto retusden novel so I will probably write 1 or 2 things that I really didn’t or don’t make no sense but probably mainly 2 things I want to since I did get some information from another blog post.
I feel Jun Esaka change Sakura character in naruto because I want to point on some things about this.
1: Hinata talks to sasuke and to the point Sakura forcibly kisses Sasuke and tries to destroy Hinata ninja headband out of jealousy
2: Hinata is apparently friends with Orochimaru now?
This feels like Jun Esaka turned Sakura into that one girlfriend/Wife who doesn’t let sasuke talk to female friends or assume that if a woman or a friend of sasuke talks to them they in love with him

Somehow, Sasuke who can fight against literal god like entities, who mastered sharingan and rinnegan, and is known for his speed and agility can’t match up with a speed of a dinosaur.
This is literally fanfiction. Though I think even fanfic writers wouldn’t make Naruto allergic to Kurama.

Reminder Sakura stans made fun of Hinata for fumbling during a basic jump in the Last. Well Sakura does the same. Such kunoichis.
She really was going through something when she got that awful hairstyle. 💀 Also once again I’m reminding that Sarada was already at least 7 when Naruto became Hokage, and Naruto was already Hokage when Sasuke got that Kaguya mission. And Sasuke can also teleport. So no matter how much Esaka tries to explain and damage control why Sasuke didn’t contact his family for 12 years, it doesn’t add up.
So first Sakura is a sensory, now Sasuke is a healer. 🤣 Esaka did not study her Naruto enough.

I stopped reading when op brought up "the truth about itachi?" panel as proof that Sakura can't be judged for not knowing. But okay, I will explain this in more details AGAIN.
1. The difference in how Kishi portrayed Naruto/Sakura reasoning with Sasuke
Naruto's reasoning why Sasuke shouldn't go to Orochimaru: "He will kill you." Naruto is concerned for Sasuke's well-being.
Sakura's reasoning why Sasuke shouldn't go to Orochimaru: "Revenge won't make you... ME happy." And Sasuke says "I knew it (yappari)" because he realizes Sakura is making this about herself. That's why that line is isolated with Sasuke in the background.
She specifically claims she understood what Sasuke meant yet she compares her pain to Sasuke's entire clan being massacred and taken from him, and takes her own parents for granted.
Then when it doesn't work, she starts to confess her feelings (why the hell she always looks angry when she confesses?).
And then she completely flips on her arguments. So much for "revenge won't make you happy" like she cares about Sasuke's happiness. Unlike with Naruto, whose arguments were very simple, Kishi chose to portray Sakura in this insincere and hypocritical manner. This is a writing choice.
He actually says in Japanese "I knew it (yappari), you really are annoying." Notice how Sasuke always uses "I knew it" with Sakura, it's because his first impression of her being ignorant, selfish and childish was correct. So despite him giving her chances his first impression continues to be right.
2. Naruto's reasoning stays the same
Kishi acknowledged that Naruto didn't quite get Sasuke yet at this point, but his intentions were good nonetheless. He just didn't want Sasuke to die/throw his life away.
3. Kage arc and how Kishi again portrayed Naruto and Sakura differently:
Yes, Naruto reacts like this at first.
Kishi showed that Naruto did care and did understand Sasuke's love for his clan. He also showed Naruto was completely fine with letting the massacre be exposed. He did not care about how it would make Konoha look, even when he didn't know it to be true yet. Kishi wrote this for a reason. Kakashi then stops Naruto.
Sakura, who supposedly "loves" Sasuke, heard how much Sasuke loves his clan, was aware that Itachi had been killed, yet she didn't bother to ASK Sasuke, something Naruto was planning to do, why he is now acting the way he is since Itachi had been killed. She just didn't want to feel guilty about the promise between her and Naruto (because her ego really made her believe Naruto was only chasing Sasuke for her). So she decided to kill Sasuke.
Sakura then hears all this (after her failed attempt to kill Sasuke) which means that there is more to Itachi's case than meets the eye, and that Sasuke thinks Konoha is responsible for what happened to his clan. Yet she still doesn't ask anyone what all that was about because she does not care. Her main motivation was always to get into Sasuke's pants, she never cared about Sasuke's feelings or him as a person, that's how Kishi wrote her. The fact op used this last panel to defend Sakura is baffling to me. She was specifically given an opportunity here, and she just shrugged it off.
4. Portraying Naruto and Sakura differently yet again:
Sakura is given the chance to understand Sasuke wants CHANGE and yet does she care?
Nope, she starts yapping about her feelings and how things can go back to the way they were if Sasuke just stays with her, completely discarding Sasuke's desire for change. Which mirrors the confession she made in part 1. Kishi was showing how she has not changed in ways that matter. She is still selfish, and she still doesn't listen/nor care about Sasuke's feelings. This is why Sasuke calls her annoying yet again.
But Naruto, regardless of the shitty ending, does want change. He was shown over and over again to want to change things for the better. You can't possibly use Boruto to deny this part of his character.
Guess who again discarded what Sasuke wanted and asked to come with him on his journey he wanted to take alone, just for romantic purposes? Guess who later CHASED Sasuke just to be with him, once again discarding his wants?
"Naruto forced Sasuke to come back to Konoha" no he didn't. At no point did Naruto say Sasuke needs to live in Konoha. He let Sasuke leave at the end, and didn't force himself with him because Sasuke wanted to go alone.
People who act like Sakura would be revolutionary when Kishi over and over again showed that not only does Sakura not grow as a person, she also does not care about Sasuke's feelings or change.
Same way, Kishi had Shizune tell Sai that Naruto is not chasing Sasuke only for Sakura's sake. Yet Sakura still thought it was just for her, and thought her confession would make Naruto stop chasing Sasuke, and was shocked when Naruto said the promise doesn't even matter. Sakura constantly discards the information she receives because she just does not care if it's not about her relevance or her being together with Sasuke.
"People celebrate Naruto for doing the same things they hate Sakura for" no we don't, we just read the manga and understand what Kishi was trying to tell, hope this helps.
