doctor: you know HRT is going to cause serious, irreversible changes to your body, right?
me:
um i want to be loved loudly
I honestly believe that people who lost their childhood, teenage years to mental illness and/or trauma are so strong for still being here. Especially once youâre about 18-25 and trying to relearn how to be in society and healthy and human.
Especially when you decide to work towards getting better.
Especially when your life isnât where you wished it would be.
Stay alive okay? If you lost your youth, Iâm sorry and Iâm so proud of you for still being here. Keep fighting. Your best years are ahead of you.

Halloween, but make it Gay đđ
I couldnât find any gay Halloween merch that I liked, so I made my own!
Drew these designs for this weekâs speedpaint in order to both celebrate Halloween and shine a light on the fact that itâs LGBT history month!Â
.

Drag me if you want but I feel like a major problem with liberal/Western gender ideology is that itâs so focused on aesthetics. Like âLook at me, Iâm defying gender norms by wearing a dress/suit/makeup/whatever.â Like okay but what about defying gender norms via the breakdown of behaviour? What about acknowledging things like male entitlement, aggression, perceived weakness and submissiveness, the expectation of women to perform emotional labour etc. If we donât actively work to break down oppressive and dangerous gender stereotypes, what is the point? Defying gender norms and identities canât just be limited to clothing, hair, and makeup
Maybe youâre not doing the best you canÂ
but you doing it â with a chronic illness and probably some anxiety and depression about your circumstancesÂ
and thatâs the biggest accomplishment ..
so be proud of yourself
even if you complain throughout the day
youâre allowed to do that
youâre not perfect and this is hard â so donât be hard on yourself, spoonies
