Idk about u guys, but I'm feeling *extremely* 22. Hoping everyone is surviving in this time of crisis. Thank you for all of the greetings and well-wishes so far and the ones to come. Birthdays have always been weird time for me and my heart goes out to all of the people at the front of this pandemic who have missed more than just birthdays. Four years, several pieces of paper, a couple of medals and many tears later, I did it. Or we did it. Thank you to the amazing people in my life. You are all amazing. "2 years and 3 tries later, I am finally a MUNer. And got an award???" An Appreciation Post by a sleep-deprived animal. Ever since finding out about Model United Nations conferences at PMC, I have had the weirdest most intense craving to be part of one. My problem was the location. There aren't a lot of opportunities for MUNing if you live in places like Iloilo City so you can only imagine my glee when I found out about SAMUN 2017 but that wasn't meant to be because of a scheduling conflict. Soon I got the "opportunity" to go to AYIMUN in Thailand but that also didn't work out for me because of a passport problem. Finally CPMUN came around and I got Dennis to go with me and it was freakin amazing. I was an MUN virgin and had difficulty adjusting to the conference but it was fun and I learned that being sleep deprived gave me an even worse stutter to the one I usually have. I got an award for being the "best delegate" but that wasn't like a big deal because the important part of the conference was the collaboration and diplomatic 😉 communication between delegates and stuff like that. Thanks tho. I appreciate it. 💜 My favorite part about this entire conference was working with mah partners Nix and Dennis, who I had always wanted to work with since meeting them. U guys were a joy (haha) to be with and I look forward to more collaborations in the future! 😘 Aight. "Maskin indi lang best thesis basta best thesis-worthy" In 2016 I had already found my partner and adviser for my undergraduate thesis paper. I chose to ask the person I thought was the coolest and most chill out of all of my classmates and thank God I did. Our thesis journey didn't have many pulaw nights nor walwal sessions but it was the best experience I could ever ask for. The fact that we chose a topic that was close to home and also very feasible and to have it come out as second place for best thesis? Damn, son! That's gr8! Who would have thought that my my friendship with this dude would go beyond the classroom and reach heights like The Courier, PHILSAT, LAE, and now, thesis? I definitely didn't. So thanks Unbroken! We did it. Law school naman! 😂 Special shoutout as well to our bomb ass thesis adviser, sir Jepoy for helping us every step of the way and tearing us a new asshole every time we got our paper checked.
