“What about if we had an unhealthy relationship with a family member?” He blurted out, interrupting the teacher, which was very unlike him.

The whole class turned to look at him at once. The delinquent next to him was staring at him with intensity.

(AKA hurt/comfort fic about past abuse with Kiyotaka. Mondo comforts him. I love my dead gay sons. Obviously the canon ending for these two wasn't sad enough so I had to make Taka sad in a world where nothing goes wrong. /s)”

I added the other Monty family members to the Monty dynasty...

Beatrice and Mercutio Monty (The REAL Beatrice, idk why Tybalt named his daughter after her, kinda weird! May need to change that.) Also Mercutio has facial hair now and looks 1000% more like an adult.

Benedick Monty... they all look sad because I've just killed all of their parents, need to get rid of the emotion buffs lol

Benvolio Monty (Bianca's son). Kind of imagine him to be this rich young bachelor who thinks he's better than everyone else.

Juliette Monty, mad at Mercutio for probably existing (they actually hate each other in TS2 canon lol)

And finally... Viola Monty! Yes, she exists in this timeline. She's giving Romeo a hug.

You'll notice the older Monty family members aren't here - I did kill them all on purpose considering the timeline (Tybalt, Romeo and Juliette are all middle aged adults with teenagers now, I doubt any of the older adults would still be alive. Except maybe Bianca.)

I would like to make Hermia, Miranda, Hal, Desdemona and Ariel Capp too... but I have no clue how to add them to the existing Capp dynasty/family tree without screwing everything up lol

The Goth family

Left to right: Cassandra Goth, Bella Goth, Mortimer Goth, Alexander Goth

I don't know what it is but Alexander Goth might be my favourite sim ever? I made him over to look more like his Sims 2 self (same with Cassie) and since I made him a Macabre he's just the coolest little dude ever? Also I enrolled Cassie into Uni she's studying Biology. Bella is of course a celebrity in my game (I may have cheated her stats) but overall, the Goths are happy!

The Pleasant twins and their boyfriends

OK so I left the Pleasant twins alone because I kind of liked them? But I made Dustin way thinner and also gave Dirk and Dustin the correct eye and skin tones. All four of them live in the big house in Britechester that the twins come in. I kept Dustin and Dirk's Get Famous jobs/celebrity status. I also kept Angela and Lilith in University to finish their degrees. Overall a very nice dynamic and a cute household to play.

The Broke family

The OG Broke family - missing Dustin because he's now a YA and has moved out. I named the unborn baby from TS2 to "Junior" as I imagine he'd be called Skip Jr but would be called Junior for short. Beau is currently dating Alexander Goth in my game... not sure how that happened but I kinda support it. Also, Brandi has tan lines that I can't get rid of but it's surprisingly fitting.

The Hatfield family

The Hatfields are in The Sims 1 - thought it would be interesting if they were in The Sims 4 but they were introduced as Ruby Broke's new extended family. I also thought it would be more interesting to give Elizabeth and Hank red hair like Ruby rather than the brown hair they have in TS1.

The dynamics of this house are that Trigger and Susie are trauma bonded siblings from the loss of their mother at a young age... and Octavia and Cecilia's other parents are both dead, making Trigger and Susie both single parents respectively. As money is tight, they decided to raise the two girls under the same roof to save money on the bills.

Alexander Goth, Cecilia Broke and Octavia Broke gossiping over a kicked over trash can...

Cecilia is the daughter of Susie Broke, Octavia is the daughter of Trigger Broke.

Octavia Broke is found in Lunar Lakes so I just made her the daughter of Trigger Broke because he never had any relatives. Cecilia Goth has zero canon relation to Susie Broke I just thought it would be neat to make her have previous family ties.

Unfortunately, Cecilia may not become Cecilia Goth in this timeline because Alex is dating her distant cousin Beau Broke at the moment...

(Which is ironic because if you read my previous TS2 story "Mysteries of Pleasantview" Alex and Beau hated each other there lol)

i accidentally made the entire Broke/Newbie family tree in The Sims 4 except I merged the sims of Ruby Broke and Ruby Ann Hatfield, thus giving Ruby Broke a family and Dustin/Beau some cousins.

I also made Cecilia Goth the daughter of Susie Broke making her a distant relative of Dustin and Beau. Her father is currently unknown but I may make an OC or link someone from a past game who ended up being a deadbeat dad…

Not really sure what to do with Trigger Broke tho? Any suggestions are welcome ig! Maybe Octavia Broke could be his daughter??

Just seen the full lore breakdown of the new Sims 4 expansion pack.

Few things.

1. The Monty Family…

Where are they?! I understand Romeo is there but there’s not a single other family member? This seems very lazy. I WILL be creating every single Monty family member that is missing including ghosts and Viola!!

2. Tybalt Capp…

Oh boy. What the hell did they do to my boy?! Look, I can understand if they made a storyline where he was shamed into having children with a woman by the older generation of the Capp family… but it’s literal slop? His wife is dead. Also there’s no Mercutio?! Excuse me. This is being fixed. Idc if Tybalt has kids I will have my Mercutio x Tybalt moment if it kills me.

3. The rest of the Capps?!

WHERE’S HERMIA?! Where are the other Capps? Regan? Goneril? Kent? Hello?! Sorry this is more laziness. You can’t chop up parts of a family and throw it into the slop machine.

4. The Summerdreams

I can maybe forgive them for putting them in the fairy pack… but they also messed this up previously by not including Puck and Bottom!!!! This whole thing is messy.

5. Beatrice Capp????

Hello???? Why are we reusing a Monty name for TYBALT’S child? Would it not make sense to have her named differently?

6. The Pleasants

WHY DO ANGELA AND LILITH STILL NOT HAVE PARENTS. All they had to do was grab the versions of Daniel and Mary-Sue that they previously made on the gallery and shove them into the game!!!

7. The Brokes

WHERE IS BRANDI BROKE PLS??? Beau? Brandi’s unborn son??? Also why not give Skip parents or the rest of his family tree??

8. Gunther Goth

Why is he not here!!!! He’s mentioned but not in the Goth family tree?!

9. Dustin and Dirk

This was the time to at least fix their appearances. Dirk is white washed to hell and has the wrong eye colour and Dustin looks like… THAT. Why even bother messing with them in the first place if you’re not going to refresh their looks to be more true to The Sims 2?! I hate how they killed Darren too!! But I do like Dirk’s royal connection I thought that was interesting.
