*I have never thought of making my life with a man. When I think about where I’m going to be at the end of my life and who I’m going to retire with, I’m always with a woman for that. I’m not saying that I’m not open to the possibility of exploring a romantic relationship with a man, but so far all I’ve ever really done is hookups. Nothing serious ever.

Receiver.
Tell us a little about yourself and your relationship—what’s the story so far?
My family is actually from Sunset Valley. I grew up out there, and my family used to own land out there, but around the time I was a junior in high school everyone (my aunt, my uncle, my dad, etc.) relocated to Pleasantview. I didn’t take the move very well, and I dropped out my senior year. Pleasantview is a really small place, and I think that extreme rural traits of the area make it so that negative influences are really compact units of activity. In Sunset Valley, I might have found a drug dealer on one corner and a hooker on another. In Pleasantview, the drug dealer and the hooker were the same person, and then her son would also be in on whatever she was doing because of the lack of opportunities for growth out there.
It was and continues to be a really polarized place; good, church people on one side and bad influences and druggies on the other side. I didn’t really become a druggie, but I was definitely part of the dark side. I still managed to get my GED and to do a couple semesters of community college. My mom died around the time I started college, and she and my sister were the only things me and my Dad spoke about because of how damaged our relationship was at that point. And then a couple months later, my Dad shows up at the hotel I’m working at and tells me about an opening that had come up in the construction company that he worked for. I moved back home and took the job. I think I was mostly scared of the element I had surrounded myself with, and I definitely took the first opportunity to come back home.
I moved to San Myshuno on my own five years after that, and it was mostly for better work opportunities. Since then, I’ve kind of developed a love of nightlife that kind of overshadows any interests I’ve had prior to that. In my group of friends, I’m the first one to know if a club is opening or closing, whether or not there’s live entertainment, whether celebrities frequent that club—I could probably run a newspaper about it, but I’m so busy actually participating in whatever that whatever has to offer that I don’t have the time to do more than have the conversations I need to have to perform well in my role as a tour manager for Codykins.
Codykins is an alternative rock band that recently performed at Edgewave Rock Music Festival. Being a tour manager for them has involved traveling to other cities and states (and maybe even countries some day)so I can expose myself to what that area’s nightlife is like, and so far it’s been a lot of fun to conquer those new environments too. Recently, Codykins has entered negotiations with Maxis Records, and so my role as a tour manager might grow with that band or I might end up embarking on a new relationship with new talent. We still don’t know.
The host will have to go back and add these Lovestruck preferences: Highly skilled, Family motivated, High Energy, and Affectionate Style of Romance.
