Undefined semi-hiatus

So I guess is that time again...

I've never been a very active person, except for some post here and there, but this has been specially true as of late. The reason is I haven't been doing well in quite a while and that leaves me with 0 energy and motivation to create more content or even interact with people. And tbh I've also grown tired of most of the Sims community.

Maybe this changes in the future or maybe it doesn't. We'll see...

Hello! I wanted to ask if you have the opportunity to share the cc iron bull suit? My friend's hard drive died and all her mods were lost. We are restoring the lost content bit by bit, but this costume from sims4modda is no longer available anywhere and we can’t find it.

Sorry, I don't have what you're looking for. The only Iron Bull CC that I've ever downloaded is the skin and horns by Zwierzo.

GUYS quick meshing discovery and as usual i might be 30 years late but when u merge two vertices on a mesh (alt+m) there’s a toggle on the meshing tools panel:

which basically means itll merge vertices for u on the uv1 and uv0..so u dont have to separately do that later i am so……wow ! wow wo W

TS4 Skin Converter V2, enable CC skintones in CAS

Created for: The Sims 4 by CmarNYC

With the December 2020 patch, CC skintones stopped appearing in the CAS skintone picker. This tool will update them and optionally will add tanned and burned textures to older skintones. When running this tool, do NOT save the converted package over the original; that may corrupt the package and you could end up with an unusable file! Give it a new name or save it in a different location. Then remove the old package from your Mods folder and replace it with the converted one. Pick which skintone panel you want the CC skins to appear in and this tool will convert them. It sets up the light/dark slider with standard values. It makes fairly accurate textures for natural skin colors and makes its best guess at tan and burn colors for fantasy skins. It uses the swatch color to judge how light/dark the skin is and decide which color(s) are dominant for fantasy skins, so an accurate swatch is important. I’ve uploaded only a 64-bit version which requires .NET 4 or higher. I can upload a 32-bit version but since this program has to process large uncompressed textures I ran into ‘out of memory’ problems using 32-bit. Straight conversion is fast, but if you’re adding tan and burn textures and there are more than a few skintones in the package it’ll take a seriously long time to compress the files and save after converting. Your system may report the process as not responding but it should complete eventually. This is really quick and dirty so keep copies of your original skintone packages and please report errors. Unzip and run TS4SkinConverter.exe. Windows only, sorry.

there seems to be a revolution where people are finally realizing how silly high poly cc is. and with high poly we're talking stuff that's like 30k polygons and more. keeping one or two items above game ready (10k) poly in your game is fine, just don't put it on every Sim or in every build.

but when there's ppl who's cc is always disgustingly high poly, it's gonna fry your pc eventually. that's items that are always 30k and more. 1 (one) top at 50k. a pair of shoes at 30k. a hair at 80k. now say you have 20 pairs of shoes and 20 tops and 20 hairs. that's 20×50 000, 20×30 000 and 20×80 000. I don't math well but I'd say farewell graphics card. and this is just an example. that and the fact that people charge real actual money for it.

of course, this is just my opinion. but unless you hate your pc, check the poly count using sims 4 studio before you add things to your game.
