Okay so she’s one of a group of characters who don’t have ref sheets yet because um. I like her the most idk. Im getting around to it im sure ill be done by artfight (lying). They’re called The Wild Cards as a group due to their eclectic nature and also being outlaws. The comic I plan to make surrounds them accidentally kidnapping a guy from his world and then getting into shenanigans while perhaps a plot maybe progresses in the background.

They essentially are in a spaceship (sorta) that traverses the space between different worlds. It’s like outer space in that there is sometimes stars and you can get to different planets, but think of it more like how space works in Treasure Planet (big inspo for this. And into the spiderverse, obviously). There’s all kinds of lore and concepts but for now accept that worlds are originally isolated from the multiverse in their own private universes, then The Bubble Pops and suddenly they’ve gotta deal with a large number of worlds with frequently completely different rules, appearances (artstyles), physics, etc.

Vivian in particular is originally from a world with a steampunk-western vibe, which has logical rules but not always in the same way our world does (for example, they have access to a tightly-furled fourth spacial dimension that essentially functions like cartoon hammerspace but more limited). She left home for reasons I actually won’t share (spoilers. Maybe) and ended up in the crew. Her main role is as the ship’s engineer, and also making inventions to help with various heists/tasks/whatever they’re doing today. She’s got doc-ock style robotic limbs that rest in her backpack and are controlled by the implant in the base of her skull, and sometimes she uses them to walk around creepy-spider-style.

She’s very intelligent and rational, which is actually kind of unhelpful because she still can’t fully accept that some parts of the multiverse (and the existence of the multiverse itself) simply do not follow logic. This upsets her and she is going to find some kind of scientific law, or even just a rule of any kind, that she can apply to the multiverse as a whole (she has not succeeded thus far). And she likes crabs. Her robots are little crab-looking things. She inherits my love of carcinization because crab is the superior lifeform.

Hiiii it’s the Vivian person again! I think I’ve got a finalized design, so I wanted to show the ref sheet just for if there’s anything I should change before artfight starts :)

(The tracked time on this is 11 hours, officially tying it for the longest I’ve ever spent on a ref sheet 🎉 much of this was figuring out her hair. She has several alternate cornrow hairstyles that I can pull out for fancy events now so that’s fun)

Oh this is dope. The way you mapped out her hair too, to show the parts and where the implant is? Stellar. I think you're more than ready 👍🏾

doing a rewatch of The Mandalorian with my family and a combination of “tired guy in armour + helmet” and my brother going “this could be the start to a horror movie if grogu was evil” (upon the end of episode one where din’s reaching out to the pod) gave me an excellent idea.

Avery takes Luke’s place, but he’s more like post-movie-1 Luke. Saves the world for the first time then goes on a side quest that his gut is telling him will be relevant to saving it a second time. He’s also more central of a character than Luke was obviously.

He’s recognizable the same way Luke sort of is, but the fact that he’s [slime alien race] makes him way moreso. He doesn’t like hiding his features, but he will to avoid unnecessary problems. He takes the cloak back off as soon as he can though. Too stifling.

Baby King is like a piece that split off from the main (reforming ancient evil) King. Baby is slightly evil but also a baby. It’s definitely driving Derek mad slowly. Wait this au could be called The Mand3lorian3. Or something.

this is partially inspired by the people making baby king post-canon aus ! Shoutout to all you guys.

odds of me doing anything else with this au are fairly low so if anyone wants to adopt it. I’m putting it in the animal shelter idk.

I think Wifies should be the guy giving out bounties.

I am not actually a stargaze hater (I think it’s mediocre but I’m still enjoying myself) . However this design is unforgivable

Okay I’m definitely seeing the similarities, but I actually think this guy is slaying to a degree knives can’t. The thigh-highs? The union of form and function by filling it with bullets? The eyebrows, the braid, the moustache, the general hairiness ? This is raw masculine energy at a level knives could simply never fathom. I now desperately wish this is what he looked like. New Trigun adaptation that is this level of camp please.
