Hello! Here's another sequential based on the Simon Snow trilogy books by @rainbowrowell. This one is a scene from Wayward Son in Chapter 21 when Simon and Baz are messing around with foam swords at a renaissance fair during their trip to America.
Thanks to the patient Snowbaz fans who leave very kind comments on my previous Simon Snow fanart, hope you enjoy this one!

Signs that youâre in love with your roommate:
On page 6: you describe his magic as lighting âa match inside your heartâ

On page 14/15: you describe how much better he looks than you and everyone else
On page 23: you think about him and his ability to do magic when your life is in danger
On page 27: heâs the first thing you think about when you get to your room

On page 39: you admit to watching him while he sleeps
On page 40: your best friend mentions how much you watch him while he sleeps
On page 43: you talk about his pajamas and heâs the last thing you think about before falling asleep
On page 50: you struggle to think of reasons you canât leave, and he is the first coherent thought to come to mind

On page 102: you admit to following him around for a year
On page 124: youâre failing the two classes that he should be in with you
On page 138: you talked about him so much that youâre friend had to set a limit on how much you were allowed to talk about him
On page 139: you know itâs his handkerchief before you see his initials
On page 145: youâre âjust lying in bed, thinking aboutâ him
On page 145: you say heâd be âbloody perfectâ if he werenât a vampire
On page 146: youâd do anything to bring him back,
On page 150: you know his face as well as your own
On page 150: you stand so quickly when you see him that you knock over furniture
[Iâm tired, so Iâll finish this tomorrow. Feel free to add anything that I may have missed.]
On page 163: you want to run to him (and knock him down) and make sure heâs okay
On page 164: you wait for him after classes until dinner
On page 166: sharing a room with him is like sharing a room with a siren
On page 170: you take the time to describe his eyesÂ
On page 170: you couldnât eat or sleep because he wasnât there
On page 171: you âneed to know where he is at every momentâ

âŚis this what people do? @rainbowrowell
I canât believe Any Way the Wind Blows has only been out for a week. Last Tuesday feels like a memory recovered from a past life.
Cock.
Soup should be a human right. In the heart of every town there should be a big pot of soup and you can help yourself. And if anybody meddles with the soup⌠well. the answer should be obvious.
what do i do now that i finished AWTWB... i started reading Carry On when i was thirteen years old, and i was obsessed. iâm almost nineteen now. and iâm... an adult??? iâm weirdly caught between letting go of Simon and Baz and holding on so so tight it hurts. at my lowest point in quarantine, my first year in college, when i was sick and so alone and terrified, i turned back to the thing that brought me joy five years ago. and it worked. i felt entirely myself again.
and just six months later, itâs over. i might write some fanfic. goddamn, i might even write my own book. i might not. but iâm gonna work at my job and live in my apartment and go to university where iâll make friends who are also 19 years old and just trying to figure their shit out. iâm gonna read other good books. iâm gonna clean my room and order takeout and go to comedy shows and sign off on student loans and do all the things that grown-ups do.
carry on, simon. carry on, readers, fans, fic writers, bloggers, cosplayers, artists, and everybody else who read the last page, squeezed the book to their chest, and knew that a chapter of their lives ended too.Â
for no reason i decided to check how often laughter happened in each of the books andâŚ
Carry On: 61 times
Wayward Son: 55 times
Any Way the Wind Blows: 122 times
I canât believe this is canon
