⏤ ( adeline rudolph. 23. cisfemale + she/her. ) new rome doesn’t wait for anyone, kali holloway, child of nemesis with the power of shadow travel. it must be your third year here because of your crass attitude about classes starting again, but i bet your professors appreciate your adaptable nature in the classroom while you study journalism. after class, you’ll always sacrifice your chicken caesar salad in the dining hall, and if people can’t find you, they should try checking the club eros or by looking for blood-red wine, chunky silver rings, lipstick stains & leather jackets. good luck this year, kali.
BIOGRAPHY
Kali Holloway's origin is intertwined with the mythical and the mundane, as the offspring of the goddess Nemesis and Lee Holloway, a prominent high-class divorce lawyer based in Washington D.C. Born a demigod, Kali's life took shape against the backdrop of the nation's capital.
During her formative years, Kali aspired to follow in her father's footsteps, harboring dreams of becoming a lawyer. However, her trajectory shifted as she witnessed the intricacies of her father's profession and the morally challenging actions undertaken to secure legal victories. Fueled by a desire for truth and a different form of justice, Kali redirected her ambitions towards journalism.
Possessing a brass exterior that conceals her inner vulnerabilities, Kali is not one to easily reveal her true self. With a deliberately small circle of friends, she finds comfort in the intimacy of these connections rather than seeking popularity. This selective approach to friendships aligns with her no-nonsense attitude, making it challenging for others to breach the walls surrounding her.
In her leisure time, Kali immerses herself in the world of books, finding solace in the written word. Her love for writing extends beyond the boundaries of journalism, as she indulges in creative expression. The piano serves as another outlet for her emotions, providing a melodic escape from the demands of her unique existence. she enjoys a good party and will never give up taking a hit from any offered blunt.

cam is still smiling at the other student as kali pulls him away, his arrogance practically radiating off of him. he won't tell her, but he's sure kali's interferance prevented him from getting into a fight his first night back. "because it's fun, kali. you should try having some." he laughs, but the smile starts to fade at the mention of amara, even if he still feels a little more excited to be here. "i'm sure she is. we do go to the same school."
"you're going to get your ass handed to you one of these days, and i might just let it happen. you could probably use a punch of two to that annoying symmetrical face." kali and cameron had been friends for a while, and it was not surprising to her that others were surprised by it. they were alike, yet not. "i have fun. you just don't know when to stop." she raised an eyebrow at him, a smirk making its way to her face. "and you haven't taken it upon yourself to annoy her yet? are you nervous to go talk to her, lover boy?" she asked teasingly.
kali brought the cup up to her lips as she watched her best friend laugh at something that was obviously more obnoxious than it was amusing. rolling her eyes, she came to his side, looping her arm through his and pulling him away from the other student before he got his ass handed to him. "why do you need to bother literally everyone?" she asked as she pulled them away from the crowd. "why can't you just focus on one or two?" she pushed her hair out of her face, stepping away from him. "amara's here." // @steelheartss
iggy had been trying to grab some of the food scattered around the party all night, and had failed miserably the entire night. no matter what, something always gets in the way before he can shove something in his mouth. it's why he resolved himself to drink. on an empty stomach. so even the weakness of the drinks given, iggy was having a great time. he stood swaying to the soft background music. he was almost so lost in it, he didn't notice he softly bumped into another guest, "oh my bad- my bad," his winning smile plastered on his face, "you had one of these things yet?" he held up his cup.
kali had been enjoying herself, mostly. she loved herself a good party, especially when alcohol was present and she'd had a gummy or two two to really mellow herself out. she was hardly ever mellow without them. she turned from where she was enjoying the music to the person that had bumped into her, raising an eyebrow at his cup and back up to him. "seems like you have had a few," she noted, looking at him expectantly. "the food has been better," she told him honestly.
