Serena helped people who appeared to be in need far too often. She’d probably get jumped for it someday, but until that happened, she’d keep doing it.
Today’s person in need was a smaller blonde girl who appeared to be around Serena’s age. She looked very lost and overwhelmed, so Serena approached the girl with a smile.
“Excuse me, miss?” she started as she tapped her shoulder. “My name is Serena. Are you lost?”

The rain was pouring down hard, and Serena was very grateful for her umbrella. The Pokémon Center wasn’t too far, and Serena had good boots on, so she wasn’t in any real hurry at that second.
But something not too far caught her eye. A small light was glowing inside a cave, and Serena couldn’t help but be a little curious. She hurried over to the cave to see what was causing it, her curiosity getting the better of her.
As she reached the cave, Serena let out a small gasp. A little ways inside the cave was a Flareon, and the look on it’s face broke Serena’s heart. She rushed into the cave and held her umbrella in front of it to shield them from the rain.
“Are you okay, little guy? Are you hurt? Or just scared of the rain?” Serena gave the small Pokémon a small, reassuring smile. “There’s no lighting or anything, but I don’t blame you if you’re scared.”
So... I’m back! Sorta. I just have a lot of Serena muse today.
So like for a starter?
