Banana Fish Timeline for Fanfic Writers

Hello! I've been working on this project for literal months, and I'm crazy relieved that it's finished. It was super fun, and now I know the manga more intimately than ever before, but whew! What a lot of work!

For those who are curious about the title, I've created this specifically as a resource for fanfic writers who need to sort out what happened when in the manga canon. Because of that, this sucker is DETAILED.

I've sucked out every official date, every approximate date, and then gave my best educated-guess-dates for everything else. Because so much of it is based on conjecture, please don't think that I think it's like the end-all, be-all of accuracy. It's not! There are issues that couldn't be resolved at all, so I did the best I could.

I fully expect this to be a living timeline--by that, I mean that if someone points out a mistake or a better reading of any situation, I'm happy to go back and make amendments, whether those be in the form of notes or changing the timeline all-together. This is a tool for the whole fandom, and I'd love as much helpful, critical feedback as possible.

AND H DDIDNT REALIZE IT UNTIL SOMEONE PICKED HIM UP BY THE ANKLES, SHHOOK HIM AROUND, AND TOOK HIM HOME.(yuto. kurofune). i think when keigo had the epiphany thatt the song, future voyager, was for him--he finally got whatt he wanted for so long…THAT WORTH! THAT MEANING. TO BE ENOUGH TO HAVe a SONG IN YOUUR HONOR. and then all of thaat build up just to come crshing down while kazama realizes 'oh…..this isnt my story..' and HES been trying to take the crown. selfishly.

he thought he was all his (hahahaha. gay) that was. that wa his breaking point. and AGAIN he finds out that NO he is not miserable. and yuto DOES care. yto doesnt want to make it himself but together becase hes had so much fun that it like. probably doesnt matter annymore. but yuto didnt know how to say that in any way other than a homoerotic fistfight in the rain becaise he is sooo fucking bad at COMMUNICATION. i could. i could talk bout kurofune all day. i swear to god. and fuck i dont even listen to them other than sakura letter
