I just came from an event that I work . I watched this video of Meryl in this important event. Is so interesting was she said. But now I understand better her concern about the rude comments that some people are saying of Peta. In my opinion she felt responsible about it. Now I understand her courage for made her statement about that situation . She is so passionate about what she do and believe and this is another example, just like when she wake up at the middle of the night to finished her homework…
Definitely worth spending 15 minutes to watch this incredible, articulate woman speak about her journey and her goals.

“You really think so?” Maks replied, his face still fixed on the screen of his phone. “Every time I try to tell myself that, I think, ‘No, man, she’s done with you.’ Anyway, she wouldn’t want—”
“Wouldn’t want what? For you to stand up for yourself and go after her like a man?”
Maks flinched, the subject of his manhood being a particularly touchy one at the moment. “I mean, she wouldn’t want me going behind Peta’s back or doing anything shady, you know.”
“If Peta had her way, you two wouldn’t even live in the same country. But how are you supposed to stay in touch with your ‘special friend,’”—here Tony drew air quotes with his fingers, “if you can’t even give her a call?”
“Sure, I could give her a call, but to say what? ‘Hi, Meryl, I’m trying to decipher the messages my friends think you are sending me on Instagram, but I’m too dumb to figure them out.’ Is that what you think I should tell her?”

Oh boy..this is why we can’t get nice things..I’m not a fan of Peta but not once did I think that video had anything to do with Meryl 😕
The video wasn’t funny, it was mocking. If she doesn’t want negative comments then she shouldn’t put it out there.
Always misunderstood…how could anyone misconstrue that video. It was so funny.Actually it wasn’t funny at all. And there’s probably a reason why so many thought the worst. It would be like Meryl and her skating pals putting mud on their faces and making a video…and then Meryl being shocked that it was seen as throwing shade on P’s mud bath pics. But, we never have to worry about that, do we? Her friend Meryl would never do such a thing.
Meryl has so many friends among the DWTS group they must have said something to Peta. I read somewhere. I think it was here that Meryl took hers down after Peta posted hers. Peta is beginning to show her true colors.

On Peta's IG someone told her to not look at tumblr because people were saying things. It's all trolls. P just can't handle it like Meryl can. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come down after Maks gets wind of all this. Regardless of the situation, I feel like Maks will be upset P brought Meryl into it.
You know what makes me angry...
Meryl has done nothing to deserve to be dragged into Peta's drama, and now because Peta is too immature to let it go, Meryl was pulled in. Meryl specifically did not tag Peta in her Instagram pic because she handled it professionally. Her super insecurity is showing in that tweet, and I am angry for Meryl that she even had to be mentioned. I feel like it was done on purpose with malicious intent. 😡
Just saw a pic of Fed dancing with Meryl at Charlie's wedding. He's good looking but looks like a jerk, she can do better. If there was problems before they're prob still there. People don't always change

And I would just like to say… I called it. As SOON as Maks got there I knew P would post a pic of them. And sure as shit, she did.

Unfortunately, this anon is exactly right. Meryl would never let herself be caught up in this media nightmare and honestly I think Maks has been trying to protect her from it. I don't think he talks about their relationship and only being friends for P (even though P would like to think so). I think he wants Meryl to be free of the drama that surrounds him. He wants a private relationship but P has probably expressed that she wants the MnM rumors gone and wants him to prove it.
I think Maks believes he was why they didn't work out the first time I'm sure. He also realized that a relationship with Meryl was pure fantasy right now. Down the road who knows what the future holds, but for now these two are definitely going to hang out in the friend zone until all of the drama disappears. It's such a bummer 😒
