For a moment time stopped and Inho was holding his boy again.

If Thanos was still alive during season 3 do y’all think he would rap to Gi-hun while he was handcuffed.

"Eternity" by Alex Warren is driving me insane! I spend way too much time making this longer version and I am trying to make the best out of the little scenes we got in s3 😭
There’s no mercy in grief; it drags you through darkness without warning.
Wi Ha-joon wrote a novel length story about In-ho and Jun-ho, and he wants to play Jun-ho alongside In-ho again in the future!!!! ❤️🥺

"S3 is a good ending! It's realistic that heroes never win and The System is too big to ever truly be defeated!"
Look, even setting aside the issue of whether or not the whole, "Heroes will lose if they try to hard to change the system, and bad guys who work the system to their benefit always win," is realistic (spoiler: it's not! the world has changed about a zillion times already over the course of human history! and plenty of those changes were for the better! it can and will change again towards better things before human history is over!)-
If you expect me to believe that a young woman could give birth to a healthy premature baby in like five minutes in the middle of a death game full of people trying to hunt down and murder each other, that the woman could then live through that death game and into another one while carting her baby around with her before dying, and that the baby could be carted around alive through two more death games by a guy who last held a baby almost 15 years ago and still be alive and reasonably healthy at the end-
Then I don't know where anyone gets off claiming that it would be too unrealistic to also have the main hero win, survive, and bring a few other people out of those stupid death games alive, too.
Symbolism! Metaphors! Hope for the future through even the darkest of times!
Oh. So it wasn't about absolute Realism? Great! Then you can have all the above in a show where the hero also lives, defeats the games, and saves a few other people who held onto their own hope and kindness and fighting spirit on the way, too.
There are so many issues with how the birth and newborn are portrayed in Squid Game Season 3 that it’s almost laughably unrealistic.
First off - childbirth doesn’t happen in 15 minutes. Even just the pushing phase can take hours, especially for a first-time mother, but here it’s rushed with barely any physical strain, and suspiciously clean. No blood, no amniotic fluid, no vernix, barely any screaming, nothing.
Then there’s the newborn care. Newborns need to feed and have their diapers changed every 2-3 hours. That first night? The baby would’ve been crying constantly. There’s no way Geum-ja could have ended herself quietly without the others noticing, nor could everyone else have slept, not unless everyone just forgot newborns exist. Diapers? Clean water? Clean clothes? We never see the guards provide these things during the first night. If they didn’t, the baby would already be dealing with dehydration, hunger, and serious skin irritation or infection from waste exposure. Speaking of infection - that baby was born in a filthy, non-sterile environment, and no one visibly cleans it. No post-birth umbilical cord care, no swaddling hygiene, they are kept in Gi-hun's and Jun-hee's filthy clothes. An infection is basically guaranteed.
And then there’s the handling. When Gi-hun carries the baby during the Jumping Rope game, he’s jolting, jumping, staggering around, with zero neck or head support (he holds onto the baby, but there is no actual neck support). The baby’s crying, loudly, which while was probably added for drama, realistically would mean serious distress from the jostling. And that kind of movement for a 24-hour-old newborn? That’s prime risk for shaken baby syndrome, intracranial injury, or worse.
Later, after Jun-hee, who’s feeding the baby? Yeah we see the guard feed the baby once during the great dinner scene, but that is the only time the baby is fed. They need food in every few hours. Gi-hun can’t produce milk. The guards don’t seem to step in afterwards, and we don’t see any bottle, formula, or feeding method. Without regular nourishment, the baby wouldn’t survive more than a day.
Then we get to the Sky Squid Game segments, where the baby is still being carried into high-risk physical challenges, with more swaying, more reckless movement, more danger. By all logic, the baby should not have survived even a day, let alone endured multiple games, without severe injury or death.

I felt, to some extent, there was a part of him that genuinely cared and wanted to save the baby. [...] When everything ended and he held the baby in his arms, it probably felt like a deeply human moment, reminding him of his past, and maybe the first real glimpse of humanity we see from him in the series.

"First real glimpse of humanity we see from him"? Have we forgotten about this scene?
