Just driving around with an air purifier and backup battery

Our car has good filters but I'm not risking the car breaking down or something and not having ok air with mine or mischiefs current lung healths

i hate it when i cant even write a poem about something because its too obvious. like in the airbnb i was at i guess it used to be a kids room cause you could see the imprint of one little glow in the dark star that had been missed and painted over in landlord white. like that's a poem already what's the point

He's really one of the best dogs.

I think it's time to switch primary vets and I really don't want to but it's been like multiple weird / kinda upsetting things. Idk if it's better to try to talk it out with them, but it's not just like one thing?

And it sucks bc I think the vet is getting burnt out / she's nearing retirement.

But Mischief has 3 specialists and might be getting a 4th based on her next CBC if neuro can't figure out what's going on with her weird numbers.

I need to get an after pic but it's amazing to me how you can literally see in a picture how she's in pain. Recovering from the flare helped.

Took her to PT and did all manual massage and laser and such and omg she's like a different dog.

What's more on brand

- ending up in the pet er on July 4th (for something not related to the holiday)

Or

- picking the house farther from fireworks only to be farther from the pet ERs, the fireworks getting postponed due to a storm, and then the storm taking out part of the fence and doing who knows what other damage.

Anyway Mischief is relatively fine. Had a GI flare up and might have a partial blockage or just very slow moving motility. She's feeling better after some meds and fluids.

House is what it is, neighbors are giving updates. Will be spending the week fixing up fences and repairing what we can.

Didn't take any pics during Kaz's cause i had his leash dropped so full attention on him.

Zeya got to watch planes today.

And Mischief was running around, she's been so happy lately! Kinda makes me want to keep her on steroids. (She's on a low dose now)

I love this dog. And he loves this game.

You can see he doesn't love being that far from me and starts to basically auto recall which is why I was walking closer. One of those 'problems' I won't actually be working on.

With the 250th anniversary it's likely to be especially bad this year!

I'd also add building/prepping a safe place, getting earmuffs, playing loud other sounds (either to desensitize or to cover up).

And if your pet hasn't had sedatives before I highly recommend doing a dose when nothing is happening to see how they respond to the meds.

She's such a happy dog!

She's almost back to her pre steroid strength, close enough that we will probably start winding down on the weekly treadmill.

4 weeks until neuro, fingers crossed she gains enough muscle in her head that we can keep her off the steroids, tho she actually does pretty well on this lower dose.

The three day heat wave was 2 much and he tried to play 2 hard. I even didn't bring a toy out bc I was hoping it would prevent injuries.

He has tiny ouchies on all his paws and ripped a thick layer of his paw pad off.

He is able to settle wherever but he does prefer being able to stare at me.

Forcing myself to take them out in the heat to get them (and myself) adjusted.

Tried to get Kaz to tire out both dogs but Zeya's knees got tired before she did. Mischief had no interest in playing (idk what it is about the steroids, she's happier and also doesn't want to play with the other dogs?)
