Absolutely not. If I ever do have kids it'll be by adoption but I'm not totally sure I even want them.

Honestly- it depends? Sometimes it's the way they talk, their nose, their mouth- occasionally eyes but not often because eye contact is hard. I guess most of the time it's clothes or the way they move.

Green- sometimes more brown. Occasionally a little bit of grey in there. My eye color kinda changes lol

Hmm... Happy ending I guess? Yeah. I love horror though but if I had to choose then happy endings.

Does being able to rotate my shoulders at odd angles count? I can reach places I shouldn't on my back and everytime I shift my shoulders they obnoxiously pop and crack. Seven months. Since the Taskforce left Mexico. Since you turned him down and left him.Ā
Just as he was about to summon his courage up and confess to you (after a bit of nudge and push from his hermano ) you shot him down completely. The pain that you both felt that night. Heartbroken.
āItās better we stay as friends.ā
Does that mean you had feelings for him too? He kept asking himself after that night. The way you sank into his embrace as you cried, like it was the last thing you will ever feel in this world.Ā
He can still feel your warmth from that night. The shape of your curve, the calming scent of you.Ā
Night after night, the dreams he had, you running through the field, smiling at him, or welcoming him home after a long tiring day, with your children jumping up and down, demanding their papĆ”ās attention.Ā
And not so innocent ones. Your angelic voice whimpers as he slowly thrusts into you, or sweet mouth of yours wrapping around his hardened length, eagerly to please him.Ā
Where he wakes up in the morning, alone in the bed, with a throbbing ache that cannot be soothed. Even standing under the icy cold showers for a long time.Ā
Now he stands in his room, after a long hard training session, checking messages and scrolling through the contact list, finding the phone number of his cousin his mother wanted to get in touch with. Thatās when he spotted your name.
His finger hovers over it. Itching to press the message or call button, wanting to check up on you. See how you are doing. Hearing your voice.Ā
āBut.. friends can still keep in touch right?āYou didnāt decline his offer to stay in touch. But the look on your face says it all. You will prefer not to. Why prolong the pain of pinning for each other while we can just cut the connection out once for all, and move on?
Letting out a sigh, he threw his phone onto the bed. He should just go have a shower and calm his disarranged brain.Ā
He started stripping himself off his uniform, throwing it all into the laundry basket, ready for the wash later that night.
Thatās when he heard a scream coming out from his phone.
Rubbing your eyes as you finish writing the last bit of your report. You were exhausted. Drained. Self inflicted really. Anything to get your mind off about Mexico. Or Rudy.
Burning yourself out isnāt the way to go. Your professional side tells you. How many times you have scolded the boys, especially Simon when he is still up at 2 in the morning, sitting in the common room, drinking tea and staring into the dark of the night. Until you push him back into his room, threaten to dob him in with Price. Or even worse, getting Soap to whip his ass.Ā
Gaz has been fussing about how the two of you havenāt had your regular catch up session anymore since you buried yourself into work. He had a fair idea of what was running through your mind, but knowing you, he knows it's better not to press for information. Him and Price drop in every now and then into the infirmary with your favourite coffee and biscuit, forcing you to take breaks.Ā
Soap gives you a look when your body stiffens at the announcement of a possible mission with the Los Vaqueros, meaning time to head back to Mexico again. Your mind already running and listing all the plausible excuses you can dish out for not joining the mission, but you know they will be immediately declined. Maybe you can just hide in the infirmary. Or maybe you can just go hide in the mountain, going through the trails that Alejandro used to run around as a kid.Ā Probably not a good idea.you will be charged as a deserter. Price will give you the whole ā I-am-disappointed-in-you.ā Dad talk if you really go up to him and beg for it. And that is the last thing you want. To let your whole team down.
Little shrilling tone interrupts you from your excuse making dreams.Blindly grabbing the phone sitting on the desk as you hearing it ringing, you press the receive button without looking at the caller first,
That is when you see a very well toned butt and muscular thigh popped up on the screen.Ā
You let out a very undignified scream.Ā The unidentified caller quickly turned around and stared at their phone with horror in their face.Ā
RUDY????
He screamed because you were screaming
Ā "AH MIERDA, YO-.. Ay Dios MĆo ayĆŗdame, que vergĆ¼enza.."He let out a stream of curses and exclaims as he scrambled to pick the phone back up and tried to cover himself up with the blanket at the same time. Unfortunately that only made things worse. The phone proceeds to drop onto the ground, directly in between his feet, camera aiming right at his private part.Ā
āRODOLFO PARRA!!! PUT SOME CLOTHES ON!!!ā You shrieked as you covered your face up, trying hard not to look at the phone screen.
āI .. I am so sorry. Ahhhā¦.ā Grabbing what he can from the tall boy, he manages to pull out a t-shirt and pair of shorts. Quickly donning the clothes on,āUm, I , I am decent, you can open your eyes..āĀ he stammered.
He can see you slowly lowering your hands from your eyes, clearly embarrassed and mortified from what you have seen. Never in his life does he want to throw himself off a cliff so much. Or maybe heading straight into a gunfire into a group of cartel probably will be a better situation to be than this.Ā
You still stare at him with wide eyes, hand covering half of your face. Not saying a word. What are you thinking? It was a pure accident. He must have accidently pressed the call button when he threw the phones onto the bed. Talk about timing.
āSo. Um, how are you?ā He cringed.Ā
āCould be better.ā you admitted.
He wondered. Were you missing him as well? Or were you making references to the incident that just happened.
āI am sorry. It was an. Ah. accident. I promise.āĀ Rubbing the back of his neck, eyes darting away, he couldn't apologise enough.
Shaking your head, you let out a little chuckle. āItās ok. I believe you.ā he can see you were ready to say something more when your attention turned to someone off screen.
āNo.. No, I am fine. Um. yea I saw a bug. Shoo. Go.āĀ Rolling your eyes as you try to wave the person offscreen out of the room.
āSorry. That was Johnny. He heard my scream.ā You pull your legs up, curling into the chair, making yourself comfortable as you turn your attention back to him. āHas something happened? Why did you call? How is Ale and the rest of the team? Your family?ā you shot out all the questions in one go, worrying something has gone wrong, reason for the call.
ā Oh, no. I, it was a mistake, I must have pressed the wrong button when I put my phone down. I was about to go shower. Everyone is fine, my MamĆ” and sisters always ask about you.ā he can feel his face and tip of his ears starting to heat up again.
You pulled an apologetic smile as he mentioned about the familyĀ āI didnāt have time to thank them properly after that nightā¦ ā you trailed off, mind seems to wander. After a few seconds you caught yourself and shook your head, letting out a yawn. āI am sorry. I'm a bit tired. How rude of me.āĀ
He looked at the time and mentally calculates the differences.Ā
ā Isnāt it nearly midnight over there? I better let you go. Get some rest. Again I am sorry for the, um, unintended exposure.ā Rudy apologises again. He hopes no one will ever find out about the awkward incident.Ā
You laughed a little as you pressed your palm to your face, thinking back to the embarrassing moment. ā Donāt worry, I wonāt tell anyone.ā His eyes softened. He misses your laugh. He missed that smile. He misses you so much.Ā
He just canāt let you go.
āHey Mini.ā
āYes Rudy?ā Just as you were about to hang up, he summoned up the courage. He is not going to shy away again.Ā
āI miss you.ā
He can see your flash of sadness in your eyes. Looking down, biting your lip before you close your eyes and opening them up again with a glint of tears, you reach to touch his face on the screen.Ā
That's it, I'm moving. I'm definitely going back to my hometown, I'll start my new job in two weeks, move from my flat share next week. And my cat is purring on my stomach (mf is fucking heavy but i love him so much omg)

Roommate!Simon might lose his mind when he sees you wearing one of his shirts around the apartment or to bed.
It catches him off guard the first few times seeing you piddle around in one of his many plain black t-shirts that hangs off of you because heās so much larger than you. Thereās something so possessive about you wearing something of his, like you actively want others to know that youāre his, even though nothing has been established yet and thereās no one else here.
He can feel heat pool in his stomach and he wants to look away so you donāt notice how strange heās acting but he canāt.
You look so content when you wear it too, like if the most comfortable price of clothing youāve had on as you lounge around in it and he canāt help but stare at you.
āThat mine?ā He wonders, knowing the answer but he canāt help but ask as he tries his hardest to ignore the fact that he just saw your nipples poking against the shirt.
Youāre not wearing a bra.
āYeah all my shirts are dirty.ā You give him a sheepish smile as he clenched his jaw. āIāll wash it when Iām done.ā
āSāfine.ā
He was a little upset when you returned it to him when you were finish with laundry later that day before he caught a whiff of your scent on his shirt.
If Simon was already struggling to keep his composure it was gone now. His shirt smelt like you, something of his smelled like you. He couldnāt help but hold the shirt to his nose and just breathe in the way it still smelled like you as he held onto it as if he were hugging you.
Heās always finding ways to get you to wear his shirts so they all have your smell in them and he doesnāt wash them unless he absolutely has to.
He has even taken them when he goes back to work, holding them close to his chest, which he would only admit to himself helps him sleep easier.

a soft purr. a warm giggle, followed by an exasperated sigh.
Itās one of those morningsāSundayā where Simon is trying to live within the normalcy heās trying to reclaim. The morning tunes play, but it wasnāt from his radio, as he forgot to buy new batteries.
The songs that reminds him of the childhood he lost creeps against the thin walls of his apartment. Itās subtle enough not the be heard; the kettle boils while he makes his morning coffee. But when everything is silent in his house, and within his mind, he listens along the joyful tunes.
The melody of the song paired by his neighbors tapping feet and the meow of the tuxedo cat with a skull like pattern across its back, is his new normal.
āSimon love, come here!ā his neighbor laughs. āyou like this one right? the treats? How does the bread taste?ā
Ghost closes his eyes for a moment, imagining it was him sharing those thin walls with you.
āSimon approves! Oh my kitty likes the bread!ā the neighbor squeals in delight followed by a hiccup after too much laughter.
Ah, Simon remembers how a friend of his had that habit too. That soon after heās getting a cup of warm water to remedy.
Ghost finds it comedic how after all these years, after all the pains he was forced to consume, he has a chance to relieve this moment with youāhis neighbor. Not a friend, no. Ghost doesnāt take friendship, merely brothers in arms and the people he carries as they bleed to death. Now, he forbids himself from sharing your presence. He puts enough space between you and him out of the apartment, away from your prying eyes. Just incase you see him and the cracks where longing seeps out from.
But away from you, as a physical boundary separates you and him, he press against it. Wantingāhoping, even when Ghost knows never to hopeā for a chance where you could be aligned in the same place as him.
But that would be selfish. He settles his mug down. The tunes have ended and so does your laughter and cheery remarks. And Simon is consumed with the Ghouls that cling to his mind. He canāt risk his weakness for your safety. He canāt forgive himself if something were toā
A knock on his door breaks him from his thoughts.
āComing,ā he replies gruffly, āhold it I said Iām coāā
a soft purr. a warm giggle, followed by a sweet scent.
āOh hello neighbor! I know I havenāt formally introduce myself, but Iād like to personally welcome you here,ā the smiled that always brightens his day greets him, āIāve made some bread and I was wondering if youād like some. Itās freshly baked, made it myself. But are you allergic to dairy or coconut?ā
Simon doesnāt answer. He eyes the cat encircling your feet.
You rubbed your neck, a nervous habit of your he also remembered, āOh uhmā¦ If you donāt want it, itās fine. I know I should have asked you first. You might not be into glutenā¦ā You tip on your heels, back and forth. Like how you always did when youāre anxious.
Ghost, clears his throat, glad he had half of his face hidden under the face mask. āItās fine.ā
Ghost takes the Tupperware from your hands, and for the minuscule of a moment where your hands met, he swiftly pulls back.
You might felt offended by his actions, as you clasp your hands back towards you, rubbing your palms, then hiding it behind you.
āI hope you like it. I have more if you want,ā you accommodate his gruff awkwardness. Your patience certainly grew as he noticed.
āThank you,ā he finally says. Arms length. Keep space. Keep her safe. āIāll return this once I finish āem.ā
He canāt help but find an excuse to say hello again.

Update on my life, I need to vent a little bit (a really boring post, fr)
So, not gonna lie, those last weeks have been quite hard emotionally, financially and mentally.
I've finished a year at uni but honestly it didn't bring me any joy or any satisfaction. I didn't really felt proud of myself (for the context, I've been in several unis in three years and everytime something went wrong lol)
And that's when I realised that quite honestly, studies didn't bring me the happiness I was hoping to find and that I started to go to uni because it was the logical next step after highschool.
So yeah, I sat, went through an existential crisis and was like "what do I want ? What do I do ?"
I have a rent to pay and no money and uni doesn't make me happy. As I'm writing that, I came back at my mom's but I still pay rent in the flat I share with my roommate in another city.
I talked with my mom about everything and I'm lucky I have the most loving, compassionate and understanding mother bc she was super supportive and told me that she would trust me no matter what.
So yeah, I'm gonna stop (or at least pause) uni for now and focus on earning money, getting the life I want, be free and responsible for myself and help my mom as well.
The good news is that I found an job and I was hired so it's a very good start c:
And the thing is that now that I know what I don't want, I already feel lighter and less stressed.
