It was an honor to work with Jj, he keeps inspiring me every day, without him I wouldn't gather might to work on anything for this beautiful fandom.
As I was finalizing this piece, I kept thinking about this video. Somehow this is exactly what I was thinking about, when drawing this: ugly messy female rage. Kali does many critically important things in Janes story. One of the being that she fights for the freedom to be furious, to be enraged. Sadly, her own creators grew too weak to handle her.
Thank you for showing me this beautiful character and for being so very sttentive and forgiving to me as I was discovering my own love for dear Kali.
Please, get furious, get wild, show your anger even if you think it might make you ugly. Let yourself be free.

âĐŃĐŽŃ.â She poked her head into the common room.
âAnya.âÂ
âI got news. Oh you are wearing reading glasses?â Oh that mischievous smile again.Â
â Are you hiding something from your parents again?â Nikto took his glasses off, questioning her.Â
âWhy do you always assume I am hiding something from Papa and Ma.â Anya huffed. But one look from her ĐŃĐŽŃ made her rolled her eyes.Â
âI promise you itâs good news this time round.â Anya promised.
âI am getting married ĐŃĐŽŃ.âÂ
She could have chosen anything to wear. Diamonds, pearls, sapphire.Â
But she chose the little petals.
Gilded flowers from his collection of dried flowers.Â
âDo you still have any more flowers left?â Anya asked.
âStill have a lot of them. Why?â
The little ĐżŃĐžĐœŃĐ”ŃŃа heâs watched growing up.
The little ĐżŃĐžĐœŃĐ”ŃŃа that will toddle up to him.
The little ĐżŃĐžĐœŃĐ”ŃŃа that isnât afraid of him.

He can hear voices.Â
âAhh, gentle.. Leave the flowers here for ĐŃĐŽŃ sweetie. Thatâs it..âÂ
âĐŃĐŽŃ.â
Oh. It's her.Â
Sheâs come to see us.Â
Why are we here?
Nikto can only hear. Couldnât see. Everything was so dark.Â
Why?
He slowly opens his eyes. With a bit of struggle.
Where is he?
âĐŃĐŽŃ.â Anya whispered, bouncing the little baby in her arms. âSay hello to ĐŃĐŽŃ.â
Oh yes.Â
Now he remembers.
âMa is sick. Very sick.â She started, looking down at the flower. âI never seen Papa so devastated in his life before. Not even when Ma went missing.â Anya shifted the baby around before wiping something off. âMa is joking that she will come and pay a visit to you. And come and annoy you on behalf of ŃŃŃŃ. Papa got so angry with her words.â
Sounds so familiar.Â
They remembered Olya doing the same thing to him.Â
âI donât know what to do ĐŃĐŽŃ.â Anya started sobbing. âLachie is burying himself with work. Everyone else is in denialâŠ. ĐŃĐŽŃ.âÂ
The day eventually will come for everyone.
He was lucky enough. In a way.Â
âI guess that is fate.â Anya wiped her tears. â Iâll come visit again soon. Until then.âÂ
Anya shifted the baby in her arm as she stood back up, and the baby turned her head, somehow spotted him, and waved her hands around at him enthusiastically.Â
âĐŃĐŽŃ?â Anya looked towards his direction. The gentle wind blew. She smiled, waving her hands, towards the empty field.Â
âMaybe we will meet again some day.â
Not anytime soon, ĐżŃĐžĐœŃĐ”ŃŃа, not anytime soon.Â

âĐŃĐŽŃ.â
Nikto turned around, the young woman standing with a big smile on her face.Â
âAnya.â Nikto couldnât hide his surprise, seeing her running up to him and giving him a big hug.
This is always the way the not so-little-girl- greets him.
Every single time.Â
And somehow he is still not used to it.Â
He hasnât seen her for quite a while after she moved away for study.Â
âOh.. you are back.â Nikto awkwardly patted Anyaâs back before she took a step back, smiling at the masked man.Â
âFor breaks.â She smiled. He slowly nodded his head. Brief silence.Â
âAnd oh ĐŃĐŽŃ. Something else I need to tell you.â Anya broke the silence, with a mischievous smile on her face.
Itâs a smile he knows too well, sheâs up to something. Or hiding something.Â
He tilted his head up, waiting for her to announce the news.
âI have someone....â She whispered loudly.Â
âDoes your father know?â He cocked his brow with surprise.Â
âNoppppeee.â Anya scrunched her face. âYou are the first one I told.âÂ
Oh. He doesnât like the sound of that.Â
âNot even your ŃŃŃŃ? Your mother?â Anyone else??
Anya shook her head.Â
Why me? Why us?Â
The voices in his head started discussing.Â
Not the first time she told us things.
Yes but why?
âI know you can keep things secret.â said Anya, seemingly replying to the question in his mind. âAnd you wouldnât overreact like everyone else.âÂ
Oh he knows two people will definitely over react. One very openly and one very silently.
âHow can you be so sure?âÂ
Whoâs this person? Is he or she going to treat her well?
Oh maybe we should spy on them andâŠ.
Hey, she said she trusts us.Â
Why?
Why is she so trusting.Â
From the time as a baby.
As a young child, as a teenager, and now.Â
He would expect he would be the last person she would trust.Â
Why is he fretting over these matters? Somehow he can understand how his boss feels.Â
Is this what having a child feels like?
âBecause you havenât told anyone else about the things I confided to you.â She shrugged.Â
True.Â
âYou know they're going to find out eventually.â Nikto pointed out.Â
âI will deal with it when it happens.â She shrugs. âUntil then. ĐŃĐŽŃ.âÂ
âWhy are you frowning?â Olga took one look at him, narrowing her eyes.
âI am not frowning. How do you know I am frowning, you canât see my face.âÂ
âI know you too well. You are hiding something.â
â.. no.âÂ
And the day the lid blew off, Nikto was glad he was as far away from the base as he could

Children say the darndest things.Â
Especially your niblings.
âAunty Bear?â
âYes?âÂ
âWhen are you and furry uncle going to make some babies?â
You nearly choked to death if it wasnât for John slapping your back, making that lethal piece of pancake fly out from your mouth and bounce across the counter top.
The unexpected question popped up during the semi chaotic breakfast session, You trying to cook with two frying pan at the same time, the children fighting for who gets the next piece of pancake, while your sister yells at them trying to get the two under control, the dog running around under the feet of the Captain and your brother in law, trying to get their attention.Â
âWh⊠what??â you gasped for air, with tears streaming down your eyes and bewildered at your nieceâs question. How does a little two year old ( âI am two and more!â Your niece would hold up her little fingers and claim.) even know where the baby comes from?
The two of you only gone on, letâs see, two dates together? Last night's encounter wouldnât even count as a third date.Â
He only kissed you for the first time about two hours ago. And now people want to know when the two of you are going to start procreating, contributing to the greater good of the society.
âLizzy has been bugging us saying she wants a baby to play withâŠâ Your nephew perked up, as he tried to chew through a mouthful of pancake. â and mummy saidâŠâ
Mum said? What has your sister been saying to the children?
Sus.Â
âAlright you two, finish your food and get ready to go out and walk the dog!!â your sister suddenly interrupted the conversation, flustering all of sudden.Â
âDarl, I already..â âBut mummy.. Daddy already walked the dog this morningâŠâ your nephew and brother in law started, confused.
âWait wait.. I want to see what he has to say.â Waving your sister off, you turned towards your nephew, smiling sweetly at him, attempting to coax more information out of him. âWhat did your mum say hmmm??â
âI said nothing to my child. Now stop interrogating him and let him finish his food!â Your sister interjected again, quickly shovelling the food into the two childrenâs mouth before ushering the whole lot of them out of the kitchen. âJust leave the dishes in the sink, I'll clear them up later! Tada!âÂ
Ah. Definitely guilty.Â
You really need to have a stern talk with your sister about sticking her nose in other peopleâs business.Â
An awkward silence fell after the four of them left the room, leaving the two of you in the kitchen, you picking on the last bits of the pancake and him sipping on the tea, seemingly unbothered, until you noticed something.
Is that a tint of redness on his cheek?
âI .. um sorry.â You stammered. You feel like you keep embarrassing yourself in front of him every time. âMy family is extremely nosy..always want to know what is going on.âÂ
âItâs ok. Iâm used to it.â John shook his head, chuckling. âThe boys do the same to me too.â
âThey care about their father.â you half joked, and giggled when he gave you the look, dispelling the awkwardness.Â
âThey should use that energy to do their work instead of bugging me.â He huffed, but couldn't hide the fondness he has for his subordinate. He finished the last bit of his drink before taking the mug and your plate to the sink, ready to do the wash up.Â
âHere. leave it. They can tidy it up later. You are not doing anything with that shoulder of yours.â You hurried to his side, bumping him away with your hip, not wanting him to strain his injury. You can feel John silently resist you for a bit with him pushing you back, starting a battle of sink dominance. Finally he relented, and sat back down, watching you throw all the dishes into the sink and wiping down the benchtop.
âI better leave soon. I am sorry for barging in the middle of night. Iâm sure you have things planned for the day.â John apologised, getting ready to leave. But you stopped him as you wiped your hand dry. âI got nothing planned for the rest of the weekend. And I am sure you donât either.â you replied, pointing at his shoulder. Well, at least you were hoping the military would give him some sort of medical leave with this situation.Â
âWhat do you propose?â he mused.Â
âJohn Price, would you like to go on a third date with me?â
The two of you decided to take a stroll down towards the park near your place.Â
You lean against his arm, people watching, enjoying the rare chance of sun popping its head through after days of miserable weather. Nothing fancy.Â
You feel him looping his arm around the waist, pulling you tight against him, when you shivered at the spring yet still chilly February wind.
âCold?â he murmured, leading you out of the shaded area and into the warm sun.
âA bit better.â you smile, snuggling against him, feeling his chest vibrate as he hummed with satisfaction as you move your hand to intertwine your fingers with his.
This is nice. So peaceful. Just like a normal couple spending a normal weekend together.
But you couldnât help thinking, where is this relationship heading?Â
âWhat is going to happen from now on?â You mumbled, speaking your mind out aloud.Â
âWhatever you decide to do. â John whispered, looking down at you, caressing your thumb, throwing the question back at you.
Letting you make the decision, or is he too scared to answer the question himself?
To tell the truth, you arenât sure what you really want.
John is a nice man. A perfect gentleman in every aspect.
Handsome, courteous, gets along with your family, a great cook, a nice furnace in bed.Â
All the qualities for a great partner.Â
But would he disappear on you again?
After last night, reality really struck at how much risk is involved with his job.
You canât deny the fear that starts bubbling up at the thought of it.
There was something about this man that really attracted you.
Something that really touches the part in your heart that none of the men you've been with that has ever done.Â
The answer is already in your heart.Â
But you want to know what is in his mind.
âJohn. Why did you come last night?â why did he seek you out? You were someone that he only just started dating, nothing more. Why you?
â....I..â He started, but didnât know how to continue. Two of you stopped in your tracks, and he moved himself to stand in front of you, leaning his head against yours. âDuring...and afterâŠwhat had happened. All I could think of was coming back to you.â he confessed, trying to put his feelings into words. âFrom the first time we met, I know you were different.âÂ
Oh dear, why is he making this sound like a proposal?Â
âI really like you, my teddy bear lady, âHe pulls you tight into his embrace. âYou heal me. I feel I can relax, let my guard down around you. To be himself. He sighed as he moved himself to look you in the eyes. âI canât guarantee you I could be around all the time. Nor can I say Iâll be here forever. But I would really like to give this a go. If youâll have me.â
You blinked a few times, trying to process his words, before cupping his face, closing the gap to give him a kiss.
Stuff this. you thought. Never know until you give it a try.
You can feel Johnâs shoulder relax and sigh against your lip when he starts to return the gesture.Â
âMummy! Is Aunty Bear and Uncle Furry going to have babies now???â your niece yelled out aloud, spotting the two of you from far away, breaking the moment and attracting a few park goers attention towards the two of you.
â.... Remind me to go somewhere that no one knows us for dates next time.â you groaned, opening Johnâs coat to hide yourself inside. That goddamn romantic moment is all gone. You should have known they would have come to the same spot to walk the dogs.
John laughed, wrapping his arm tight around you.
âWhatever you like, my love. Whatever you like.â
âIf someone called Laswell or Nikolai ever shows up at the door asking for me, just say you know nothing.â
