There's a lot wrong with "My Pride" but at the very least they could have made Kyoga disabled too so that Nothing isn't only important and special because she's a reincarnation of an able bodied lioness.

I can say this as someone who was manipulated by someone I looked up to, this is the opposite of what you should be teaching kids.

“Oh, they may have manipulated, shamed and abused you, but they’re related to you so you’re obligated to forgive them 🤪🤪” HELL NO.

If someone hurt you to that degree in the past, you decide whether you want them in your life or not. It doesn’t matter if they’re “family”, if they’re pieces of shit like Farleap and Powerstrike, what will happen is they’ll accept your apology and continue their behavior like nothing ever happened. Behold the power of gaslighting.

I really hope this was cut from the show, but we all know Nothing is probably going to forgive them anyways, which is fucked up, but Tribble can’t miss another chance to groom children into thinking ableism can be forgiven if they have an excuse for it.

Can we stop praising Tribble for literally being transphobic and portraying it as being “progressive”?

She announced she was going to have a trans character in the series, I expected that to be incorporated into the plot or something, or at least be a character with more than five lines.

Instead, we got Moonstrike. The trans women who denies Pride Law, EXCEPT when it comes to killing children to become leader.

At first I was like “WOOO! Trans girlboss, who cares what Pride Law says!” And then.. no. She’s just a plot device.

Great trans representation, My Pride, you’ve done it again. 👍
