Meet Kara
Kara has 12+ years of experience with digital, editorial, print, and social content strategy.
Kara is currently the Design and Content Manager at Cal Poly Corporation, where she leads and mentors over 15 students to deliver digital campaigns for commerical services like Campus Dining and University Store. She also launched their first CRM program, led the development for 8 new sub-brands, and re-built guidelines for exisitng brands.
Prior to Cal Poly Corporation, Kara worked at Rosetta Marketing for client Samsung Mobile USA. While delivering Social CRM and Content Strategy solutions, she added a spirited interest in the psychology behind why consumers love a brand, and what creates engagement via loyalty and retention programs. Her background in editorial art direction provides value to content marketing and brand publishing, specifically with tactics that inspire advocacy via premium user-generated content.
While not ideating, being strategic, and curating content, Kara practices her calligraphy skills, teaches Les Mills fitness classes, and can be found soaking up the luxuries of the Central Coast, which always includes a glass of local wine. Cheers to #WW!
