since the polycount on this hair is very high, i would recommend using it sparingly if your computer is on the lower end. i was having some issues with it myself so just a heads up!

Something is going on with themes. I need everyone to be careful clicking on people's blogs, it seems something is going on with certain codes. It's doing very suspicious things and redirecting to random places.

Go to your own blog on desktop (ie iliketodissectsims.tumblr.com) not the dashboard blog, and see if your page loads ok- if it doesn't you need to change theme ASAP.

I have no idea when this started as I only just seen it happen on two of my friends blogs today.

I figured it out- if your theme uses icons from cappuccicons.com that's where the issue is, you need to remove this line from your code

and your blog will be viewable and not redirecting to god knows where

hi friends ( ^‿^ )ﾉﾞ i have a little update on one of the projects i've been working on that i'd like to share. i've been working on some potential new colors for my purr system and have updated a couple of colors that i'm already using

first of all, i made some changes to the orange and white colors in my purr system's palette. i felt that they were both a bit too bright (especially the white) so i made them a bit darker. the swatches here make them seem significantly darker but when the colors are applied to a full hair texture, they're really not too different

ta-dah ✧˖ the white color seemed too bright in certain lighting during actual gameplay and it was starting to bother me. the orange i wanted to change because i felt it wasn't especially compatible with textures other than my own. i noticed this issue especially with braided or dread style hairs and, after testing, i think the darker orange works much better! i guess i could have previewed a hair like that here but i didn't really think that far ahead :'D

these were the only two colors i was personally taking issue with, but i am always curious and open to feedback from others. if anyone else happens to have issues/concerns with any of the other colors in my palette please feel free to let me know! a lot of the colors are on the brighter side because that's what i tend to prefer, but i would definitely be open to the possibility of changing some of the other colors too if it seems it would be beneficial ^_^

i do have a handful of hairs that have already been retextured in the V1 colors that i've not shared yet, but starting soon all hairs i share will be using these new V2 colors instead. for those that are interested, you can download the resources for these new colors from simfileshare or mediafire

that being said, i am also in the process of testing some possible new colors for my palette! when i first made the purr system, i intentionally wanted to keep the palette small. it's now been a year and a half since i shared version one and i find myself wishing i had more variety in my gameplay so i decided it's time to start working on some more colors. i did already add three darker colors last year in june, but then i felt the darker options were incomplete and it's since spiraled from there

i've not fully committed to all of these colors. some of them i have been using for myself but the majority of them are new so i'm giving them a trial run in my own gameplay before i make anything official. the names are temporary too- basically everything about these new colors are subject to change. again, the swatches don't really do the colors justice. some of them may seem redundant but they're all unique from one another when they are fully applied to a hair

that's really all i have for now :D i have some other things in the works, mostly more retextures, but in the meantime i would love to hear if anyone has any thoughts/feedback on anything i've shared here! take care friends ^_^
