Hear me out: bullfighter (Saurian fighter in this case??) Ifa AU where saurians are hunted for sport and used as nothing more than entertainment. His family is full of bullfighters and obviously want him to be one as well, but he just can't bring himself to do it (Book of Life inspired heavily) i MIGHT write a fic about this...

The more I think about it the more I can't get it out of my head ITS SO PEAK...

-Ifa learns how to be a vet in secret and heals any wounded saurians he finds in the wild

-When hes seventeen its either his parents die, kick him out, or he leaves... decisions decisions....

-Heavily inspired by book of life so maybe Ororon gets bit by a two-headed snake idk

-Whole Natlan cast hates how saurians are treated so they form a little group to prevent any more harm from coming to them

-tiny bit where cacucu is being noisy in ifa's house and he's desperately trying not to get caught so that his family wont turn cacucu into red mist

-Ifaron... ifaron please save me...

-everything is deadass the same as the normal genshin universe but it's kinda pre-traveler and Ifa is still freshly 17

-citlali hates bull/saurianfighters and wants ororon to stay away from ifa

-the tiny anti saurian-cruelty group is seen as stupid

- "killing the bull is wrong" ahh ifa

- i cant tell if ororon is half-iktomisaur or half-bat (probably the latter)

-people begin to change their mind about saurians after a bit and start to treat them better (much to ifas relief, but that isn't to say that everyone is suddenly all buddy-buddy with saurians. its never that easy to change tradition)

-im pretty sure that after this it'll basically be identical to the canon world with a few mild tweaks
