BLUE CURAÇAO ( simon riley x analyst!reader )
there’s a woman flirting with simon riley at the bar. that’s all well and good because simon riley is a single man, except little ol’ analyst you has a big fat crush on him. (1.5k words) warnings: 18+ mdni SMUT !!! smut smut smut !!!! possessive! simon. reader is jealous and pathetic. hello. reader is insecure with her appearance. misunderstandings but simon loves you and you love simon riley <3 authors note: i am, as the youth say, clockin' in. first ever longfic. ever. hope it goes well.
you’ve had a crush on simon riley for a long time. that’s nothing new. he’s been the brute that barges up into your office at four in the afternoon with some intel, and you’re left staying overtime waiting for his scarred face to show up.
he always has a smile for you. even when he’s walking into your room with a limp, or with blood on his shoulder. fuck one time you saw him with a stab wound.
simon riley tries very hard. that’s what’s endearing. the captain you’ve been assigned to is dismissive, he barely cares if you live or die. you know the last analyst had barely lasted more than a few months before they took the transfer.
please read this even if you're not indian. especially if you're not indian.
you've seen the jokes. india is "dirty", indians are "everywhere", why don't they fix their own country. ok. let me tell you why, and what's happening right now while nobody's watching.
first, the history you skipped: britain ruled india for two centuries and drained it. economist utsa patnaik's research estimates around $45 trillion in today's money was taken. the india that got independence in 1947 was one of the poorest countries on earth. every "why is india like this" question starts there. you don't get to profit off a robbery and then mock the crime scene.
now, what's happening RIGHT NOW:
in may the question paper for NEET leaked. that's the national medical entrance exam. over 2.2 million students took it. cancelled. years of studying, families' savings poured into coaching, gone overnight because someone sold the paper. students died by suicide after. these were kids who wanted to be doctors.
and out of that came a protest movement. a gen z group called the cockroach janta party, started by a 30 year old named abhijeet dipke, got 22 million instagram followers within DAYS. they've been doing a sit-in at jantar mantar in delhi demanding education minister dharmendra pradhan resign.
and then there's sonam wangchuk. if you've watched 3 idiots, he's the real engineer the character was based on. built solar schools in ladakh. invented ice stupas so himalayan villages have water. spent his whole life on education. he's 59 and he's been on hunger strike for 17+ days now. reporters went to see him this week and he was too weak to talk. and the troll armies are calling him "anti national" and "foreign funded". a man starving himself for other people's children. that's the thing here, anyone who asks a question is suddenly a traitor.
it's not one incident, it's everywhere you look:
• infrastructure worth thousands of crores failing within months of the ribbon cutting. tunnels collapsing in regions where heavy rain is a guarantee, not a surprise.
• youth unemployment near 10% for ages 15 to 29, 13.6% in cities. in a country of 1.42 billion where more than half the population is young.
• only about the top 3% of indians earn above 10 lakh a year. meanwhile billionaire wealth keeps ballooning and the headlines celebrate it.
• manipur burned for over two years. an ethnic conflict, tens of thousands displaced, and the prime minister barely said the word manipur while it happened.
• journalists raided. critics' houses bulldozed. activists sitting in jail for years without trial under laws like UAPA. our press freedom ranking has cratered.
• even the petrol is a fight now, ethanol blending pushed through while drivers complain about their engines and get no straight answers.
and through all of it, the PM, who came to power on religious polarisation (americans, sound familiar?), travels abroad for photo ops and has not held one single open press conference in over a decade. not one.
what i'm asking:
if you're not indian: share this. our media mostly won't cover any of it because the big outlets are owned by the same billionaires the government serves. the only reason wangchuk's fast is getting any coverage is people refusing to look away.
if you ARE indian: speak up even if you're comfortable. especially if you're comfortable. join the protests. add to this, correct me, translate it. staying quiet is a choice when nothing in this post touches your life.
india is not "dirty". india was robbed, and it's being robbed again, from the inside this time. but it's also the country where a 59 year old will starve for strangers' kids and 22 million young people will rally behind a party literally named after cockroaches, because cockroaches survive everything.
we can still save her. but only loudly.
reblog. share. don't scroll past.
Reupload because I used the wrong photo oops. Coloured pencils and alcohol markers, loid forger
He canonically reads spy wars, I bet he secretly likes it a lot

It's my 1 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳
18+ mdni simon riley is a horrible lay, everyone says.
that’s what you’ve heard around base, from men and women alike. he’s too fucking big, apparently, fucks like the mean bastard that he is. hurts. apparently, he’s so cold he doesn’t even care for his partner. and apparently, every time anyone’s tried to sleep with him, they’ve always stormed out of his room, pissed off at him because his room is a hellhole.
apparently. it’s all word of mouth, but you believe it.
but after the end of the month drinks at the local spoons, you can barely get simon off you, he’s pawing at you with his big hands. the two of you split a cider in two, and he looks at you with his big brown eyes, “y- you’re really fucking hot.” he blurts out, kissing your nose with chapped lips.
his face is red, blushing deeply as you try your best to not flush the same. “and johnny told me you can’t ever think about the pretty lass on floor 3 with the filing cabinet, but guess what, i can.” he kisses you on the side of your head this time, and you’re enjoying his affections.
it’s only back in his room on base that he fumbles with his belt, before he looks at you again, “s-sorry, it’s just, i don’t really get to spend the night with pretty women like you-“
you want to hide your face in his pillows, his room is really fucking nice. he has plants, actual plants growing from gaz, sketch drawings from johnny, photographs of him and the captain.
his cock is huge, hard and leaking, slapping against his stomach, but he still looks at you with his sweet brown eyes, “love, it’s okay if it’s too big…” he sounds dejected already, but you just shake your head, it’s nowhere near as big what the word around base was.
“it’s fine simon-“ you whisper, licking your lips and placing kitten licks on his length, feeling the taste of him coat your tongue.
“no no no-“ he shakes his head, pulling away before his hands touch your wet panties, “fuck, you’re so wet love.”
and then he dives in, tugging them off, before licking at your cunt with a sloppy tongue, he doesn’t have a technique down but whatever the fuck he’s doing it’s good, your legs are shaking as his tongue dips inside you.
“gotta make sure it’s good for you-“ okay, what the fuck was anyone talking about?
he slides into you with ease, and thrusts into you? his hands above your head, his eyes still looking at you. “you’re very fuckin’… mmmph… hot.” he says, with a grin on his scarred face that would look terrifying if it wasn’t for the way his brown eyes shone with sweetness.
it wasn’t long before his cock twitches inside of you, and his eyes roll back, “oh fuck love, right there— fuck!” he was filling you deep, his cum thick in your stomach.
“love?” he asks, whimpering, his head on your chest, “love, did you find it good?” he’s desperate for your fucking approval.
you kiss his head, his soft curls growing out of army regs.
“yes darling.” fuck the word of mouth, did anyone even try this with him?
“th-thank you dove-“ he pants, his cock deep inside you as you keep stroking his hair, feeling his breath even out.

My Love Mix Up (Keita Hatsukoi) review
Hiyaa!! To my non existent audience (\(//∇//)\) It's I Kareena ready for my very first Tumblr post. I've been doing manga reviews for my local anime society recommendation channel but I've decided to let the world of Tumblr see this post. I hope you enjoy >w<
The manga that had a glowing review was of course Kieta Hatsukoi (whose English translation is either My Love Mix Up or Faded First Love). For this review - I will refer to it as My Love Mix Up because I feel it captures the manga story much better. As the name suggests, this manga is a comedy of errors with a bunch of misunderstandings which result in unintended outcomes - but it’s so much more than that - it’s goes so deep into the character’s emotions and emphasis how important clear communication is to a relationships and how important it is to look out for other people’s emotions.
A brief summary of the manga is that it centers around Sota Aoki who has a crush on his classmate, Mio Hashimoto. One day, he borrows Mio’s rubber and finds a name “Ida ♡” before he drops it on the floor. Unfortunately for Aoki, the school’s sport hero and quiet boy Kosuke Ida picks it up and misinterprets it to mean that Aoki has a crush on him. Right from the beginning, this manga hooked me immediately. I’ve read a little bit of BL manga (Thanks Meenu) but never have I come across an accidental BL story. It’s super comedic - thanks to the fluid art style with an amazing use of exaggerated facial expression and occasional shift in art style for comedic timing. Huge props to Aruko - who illustrated the manga (fun fact: She also illustrated “My Love Story” - an underrated shoujo manga/anime). Whilst, it might seem like a simple gag concept - writer Wateru Hinekura uses this simple premise to write a deeper coming of age story which works as a romance story and a bi/gay awakening story (no queerbaiting here). The dynamic between the two men, Ida and Aoki is just incredible. It's a bit of an “opposite-attract” dynamic as Aoki’s awkward and emotional personality clashes incredibly well with Ida’s stoic and calm personality. These two have such good chemistry because they are both super dumb and naive (but in a cute way) and the manga explores the different facets of their relationship and we see the evolutions of the relationships. I love how it’s not a cutesy love story or an explicit sexual relationship - this is strictly a PG13 relationship where there is realistic challenge to their relationships that makes it feel like an actual relationship instead of fetishisation that a lot of other BL manga often do. They even briefly explore homophobia - whilst it’s not a lot - I really do appreciate the acknowledgement as well as the fact that it’s not framed as the main focus of the relationship.
Another bonus thing I really appreciate about this BL manga is that there is actually an important female character in the story! Hashimoto: the person that set up the confusion in the first place. Whilst she might have been used to set the story up - she actually becomes a really important side character (and even the main character in some of the chapters). I really love how she is set up to be the typical shoujo girl - sweet and kindheard, but who gets flustered easily! But like with the other characters in the manga - we get to see actual depth into her character. I love that Hashimoto and Aoki become such good friends - especially when you realise how similar the two characters are with their personality and reaction. I really love this because in most manga the fact that a boy and a girl have similar personalities would often push a romantic outlook but here - there is the acknowledgement that sometimes friendship can be better than romance for some people (win for opposite sex friendship and aro people). Sometimes a soulmate (ie: someone who is similar to you) can be a close friend and not a romantic partner.
Akkun (who is Aoki’s close friend) is another important character in the story and helps form part of the main quadruplet in the story. Even though he is not part of the central conceit that sets the story - I really liked his character. He has this chill guy vibes that sort of remind me of my brother. Whilst he is a great companion to Aoki - often being the logical one keeping Aoki’s emotional impulse in check - I really love how the manga often highlights the issue with these chill guy types - no offense to my brother - like how they can be insensitive to be people’s opinion and how their blunt opinion can hurt other people. He really does have one of the best character arcs and his relationship with Aoki and later the others help push him towards a better path.
Overall, I can say this with ease: this is my favourite BL manga I have read so far. I just think it’s so wholesome, cute, amazing and AHDHSFHKJDHSKJF. Considering what this year has been for me - this manga has helped make this hellish year a little bit more bearable. I don’t know if my review was any good but if it makes at least one of you try it - I would be really happy o(*≧▽≦)ツ┏━┓
-# Ps I hope to write more reviews but my mental health has been a huge struggle in getting anything done. Hopefully there will be more in the horizon.
