I tried to draw Caine, but my back’s still playing up and the pain sent me straight to bed.

Although I’m quite happy with the progress I’ve made on the sketch.

At first I was going to draw Caine and Bubble on the same page, but I misjudged it and there wasn’t enough space left for Caine’s hat

I haven’t forgotten your Janus cat yet, anonymous commenter; I’ve still got it in mind, but I want to do it digitally.

To officially announce that the En-Gonnar campaign has officially come to an end.

The reason? The DM is fed up with the high turnover of players we’ve been having, whether due to work, arguments outside the game, or whatever reason takes its turn.

Just a break, a short one

I’ll be taking some time off; I’ll still be commenting, replying to comments and even writing the odd post now and then, but I can’t draw any more. My spine decided to make its displeasure known and I ended up with whiplash when the bus slammed on the brakes because of some idiot behind the wheel.

Honestly, I wanted to show you how I added textures and lighting to the bubble model, how I painted my sketches by hand, and even how I painted that two-headed cat digitally, but because I operate a camera on short film productions at work, my back has refused to cooperate any further since it happened.

I wanna draw, I love to draw, but I can't more :(

A promise is a promise 🗣️ – I’ve already started working on 3D modelling in Bubble (I’m also a 3D artist, albeit a very mediocre one). I was thinking of streaming the process and creating Caine, who’s been my favourite character since the pilot

It still hurts me to bits that he was killed, and that it was Kinger – my second favourite character – who did it 🥲

I might also make a model of Kinger and upload it to Sketchfab, it’s a bit like rubbing salt into the wound

Back to 2017 part 2

I'll be honest, I'm really embarrassed to show this drawing. You can even see my old signature. I wish the ground would swallow me up.

But I promised to show the old one alongside the rendering.

Although, looking at the new version, I feel a little proud to see the evolution of my work. Going from the teenager who drew pointy chins and stick-thin legs to... Well, my anatomy is still rubbish, but at least I can draw legs now 😂

I still haven't learned how to make backgrounds; it's driving me mad. Any advice?

Returning to 2017

I was going through my father's old library and found one of my notebooks with drawings from 2017! Despite how embarrassed I feel just thinking about them, I thought I'd try drawing them again.

I'll show you the comparison when I finish the render. I spent all night sketching and doing the line art, and now I'm exhausted.

As a funny fact, in the sketch you can see that, indeed, Freddy's are filled with love (and something else), but the costume does its job very well.
