Hi Pilar! Sorry for my ignorance but what do you mean by sharing the revenue from the youtube video? Why would Harry get the money if it's not from his channel?

Hi!! I think a lot of ppl don’t get it so I’ll explain it better. So if I upload a video of me talking about my cats and turn ad revenue on, I can make money on it. If it goes viral and everyone watches my video, they’ll watch the ads before and during and I’ll get that money. That is the “revenue”.

But!!!!!

Freddieismyqueen videos have copyrighted music. The videos are not about something totally hers like my cats. That means that Ellie (the person behind if FIMQ) does not make money with these videos because the content is not actually hers so she would be making money out of someone else’s music (which, of course, labels don’t want). That is why Taylor is really good at hunting down youtube vids w her songs.

What happens normally is that her videos will get flagged for copyrighted content and she won’t make money. That’s what happened with all the 1D songs she used. HOWEVER with all three vids with solo Harry songs (Two Ghosts, Sweet Creature and now Medicine) she got the notification that the artist had chosen to split revenues with her. That is not the default. That means that someone in hshq actively decided to, for these SPECIFIC videos, share revenue with the content creature. This is HUGE if we consider what her channel is and WHAT THESE VIDEOS ARE ABOUT.
